I have been doing SEO for a number of years and I can tell you it changes about every week...I think at times Google hates us. None the less the best thing to do is A. Either google how to get more traffic to your site because there are a lot of ways to do this and depending on your sites content would also depend on how you go to get that traffic. B. Check on the blackhat side of this site look at the downloads section to see if you can find anything that you might be able to use. C. Hire a pro to get your rankings up in Google and drive more offsite traffic.

Good luck and keep in mind people spend years trying to learn how to get traffic to their site and some pay big bucks for it or both.
