An opportunity to what, make the day longer? Of course no one would sleep if they didn't have to, but since we have to physically and mentally, I like sleeping. It's life, just be happy you're here and breathing. Be happy you're not a Bee which only lives 4-5 weeks. Nice first post BTW.

The day can be 144 hours, but it's still the span of 24 hours. I know what you meant though

Science actually doesn't really know why we're awake, besides the fact we need to eat and reproduce.

I tried, several times but it's almost impossible to stay awake, you will get exhausted physically and mentally..
