SEOmoz or blackhatworld?

time to chip in, seomoz does have a lot of valuable informations regarding seo, but what I found about most users on seomoz seems to think they all doing whitehat seo, and all high and mighty and people from BHW are the drags of seo, the wrong un.

And I get fed up now with the arguement about whitehat, greyhat, blackhat, bluehat whatever hat you can name, there is no freaking white hat, the minutes you intentionally building a fecking links, create unique content with links going back to a website all you like, no matter how you done, if you do it intentionally, your white hat seo is out of the window.

Jeez, just do whatever it is you can do to rank, google algorithm is one easiest thing to game, if you stick with what should be done. rant over

I second that. I use UD as started by one of the fellow members above. Google have their way of penalizing and IMers have their way of showing as Big G wants the SEO to be.

Don't worry mate, you just follow some IMers who are good and reputed and you will get your way.

TIP: I usually get some basic ideas from SEO biology and make my own twist and have got great results, but I follow other blogs to FYI.

It's time to go for grey (a mix of white and black hat) intelligently.

Thats funny as i said something similar to what you said, before somewhere when asked how to describe difference between black-hat and white-hat:

Whitehat: Taking Matt Cunts boots, licking them clean, handing the boots back and then bending over to invite him to take a look.

Blackhat: Spitting on Matt Cunts boots, and then banging the said boots on Matt Cunts head giving him a headache (aka spam), while reading between the lines of the big G rulebook as to what other tactics to use.

Seomoz= Licking Cutt's boots.
BHW= Bypassing and kicking cutt's with his own boots.

Jokes aside, you are in SEO for 5 year and you register here now?? Not to mention in 5 years you haven't tested anything to gain knowledge????

Total whitehat SEO produces websites on #50.000 in google, thats what i realized when i started reading here.

learn on both places. SeoMoz tells you right ways AND BHW tells you right and smart ways both.
If you are able to product a nice site with content only and get traffic then dont go black for that site. instead do more sites and go black on them.

I guess it is time to mix up creating super content with infographics and familiar methods of link building: article directories, blog and forum commenting, guest posting. it still works fine. actually I find some ideas on seomoz eye-cathing but I am getting fed up with the same ideas that they share just in different ways. it is annoying...

I ran two test with backlinks very recently, one on a really old site with tons of content that was Panda / Penguin penalized and another one on a newish site. In both cases, I built web 2.0s, Web 2 profiles, social bookmarks directly to the money site and tons of other links (wikis, profile links, etc) as a second tier.

In both caes, the rankings moved up quite a bit in a matter of weeks; with that said, I doubt that I could get them to rank in the top 10 positions with the same tactis, I would probably need to get higher quality links (from relevant sites, contextual links from good networks)

I have also started building a few 100% whitehat sites, but this is very expensive and I would prbably see results a year from now; ffor instance, one of the sites already has about 200 published articles and not a single hit from Google. I haven't built a single link to that site, and have paid about $1 500 for the articles. So, this is a long term and probably risky strategy, but a friend of mine did something similar and got up to 2000 euros per month (from adsense) with five sites - it took him more than two years, but he did everything himself, while I intend to outsource all of the content writing.

I use ezine, squidoo, hubpages, go articles, amazines etc as tier 1.

Moz has some good stuff related to on-page guidance and some general principles. But it's definitely not a one stop source if you want to rank.
