Hello everyone, I've been advertising in Youtube comment sections for a little while now, and have been pretty successful (>300 subs in less than a month from just posting comments can't be so bad). A good reason that this is better than buying views or traffic is that the traffic you receive through these comments is completely legitimate, and the people who are interested will spend quality time on or with whatever you're advertising. Anyway, I thought I'd share some of my methods with you guys on BHW.
1. Don't "spam":
Okay, I know if you're advertising on any site where you shouldn't be, it would most likely be spamming. But by not "spamming", I mean don't just copy and paste comments, because Youtube's built-in spam filters will catch it, and nobody will see your comment.
2. Change up your comments:
I see so many people post the exact same comment over and over again, just with a couple words changed. This may work just starting out, but again, Youtube's spam filters are smart, and they will catch you eventually, if the Youtube community doesn't first. Instead, write different comments every time (but advertising the same product/site of course). Youtube's spam filters look for individual keywords that are repeated in your comments, so you might have to get creative.
3. Get creative:
Remember in that last step where I said you might need to get creative with your comments? Well this is where I'll tell you how. Simple things such as putting spaces in your company's name can get you past the spam filters. For example, "Black Hat World" could be changed to "B l a c k H a t W o r l d" (notice I put 3 spaces where normally 1 would go).
4. Get rid of links:
Okay, this one might be a given, especially since Youtube doesn't even allow you to post comments with links. Most people know how to get past that though, take off the suffix and the prefix of the URL. This just looks messy, and I have a feeling Youtube's spam filters will get smarter and prevent that themselves. Right now what works (I believe) is bit.ly and some other URL shorteners. You can use these in your comments without changing the link at all.
5. Don't copy other users:
I see one person every day post a spam comment, then a minute later, another person posts almost the exact same comment, just rewritten in his/her own words. This is bad to do because: 1. Youtube's spam filters might catch you, and 2. The original comment poster might get mad at you and exploit you for spamming. Stick to your own comments.
~And last but not least~
6. Don't get angry at OP:
When the original poster gets mad at you for spamming and blocks you, don't get mad back, just move onto other videos. What did you even think the block function was for?

i normally do sometimes 7-10 comments from 1 account !
