How about this...can you write out the exact steps that you believe would be the most efficient to perform this? I'd like to see if we're on the same page and whether we can bounce ideas back and forth on this.

I'm glad you like the idea. I'm certainly no programmer when it comes to app development, but the way I see it, this sort of functionality can be implemented one of two way. The first, and perhaps easiest, is to allow either copy and paste functionality into the scheduler window, or alternatively allow us to save a template of scheduled tasks. In this way if you do have 10, 50, 100 accounts and proxies for each, you could set up all the tasks that you want fired for the hour, at whatever interval you determine. Once all your tasks are set, you could either copy and paste that info across all hours of the day, or same time next day, or week, or whatever. Or you could save a template of these tasks with the account info, proxy info, task info etc. And then be able to set that template to fire any day, week, etc. It just seems that at the moment it is not practical to schedule 100's of tasks. What if the bot freezes, computer crashes, etc. That scheduled task that you may have spent a long time setting up is gone. And if you want to do the same things next week, next day, even next hour, you need to re-enter all the information again.

Like I said, I'm no application programer, but perhaps that might be an easy thing to code? Other wise, when you have multiple accounts (with proxies) selected in the accounts manager, and you schedule a task, the task is auto set to run 1 account after the other, even with proxies. I would think it should be easy to make the scheduler auto set up a multi-threaded campaign using the account and proxy info. So if you have 20 accounts with 20 proxies matched up, and you create a follow task, it loads 20 separate task staggered by 5 seconds so you automatically have 20 threads running the follow task. As opposed to manually setting up a follow task for every account.

I don't know if this is possible from a development stand point, but if either one, or even better both of these features could somehow be implemented, we would all have a very serious instagram marketing bot on our hands. The multi-threaded capability would make it faster than anything else available. Hell I for one would pay an upgrade fee for this functionality.

You can use a Mac software for a Windows crossover - we can try to test it out on a Mac to see if it'll work though



Rate limits are as follows for each account, per hour:

Follow/unfollow - 49 users
Commenting - 15 pictures
Like: 229 pictures
Picture Uploads: 8 pictures

i dont get it, in an earlier post u said that you can follow 1,000+ per hour without getting banned but here you say 49 users?

also why only 229 pics per hour that seems so low? isnt the rate limit 5,000 requests per hour?

Hey, I must've forgotten to mention in that post that you can follow 1000 when you click the "Mass Follow" feature - sorry, I answer it so many times on this thread that it must've slipped my mind on that response But to clarify, the Mass Follow feature is on the main interface, while the 49 follow limit is on the Scheduler

The 229 pictures for liking is what we've tested to stay within the good graces of Instagram.

You can break down each picture upload task for any date and time, using ANY or ALL of your instagram accounts. It varies based on your needs. So you can only perform one task at a time you can't automate it throughout the day, for example set it to upload one picture per (about) 1 hour, per account? I was thinking you could because of the pause times.

Oh no no sorry if you misunderstood me - you can set up your tasks throughout the day for sure. You can even set it up days, weeks, or months ahead of time. As long as InstaDominate is open, it'll run the tasks that you set.

2. If you click on "Mass Follow" in the Scheduler, it shows as "Follow"... so there's no way to be 100% sure it is using the correct API. Instead of showing "Follow", it should show "Mass Follow" - in case we make human errors, etc.

3. There is no follow.txt in /database - I think this is a must have. Following/Unfollowing the same people is not productive.

4. Since the update, I can't scrape Commenting/Liker (in Standard mode). I don't know why.

Thanks for your questions!

The Mass Follow and InstaDominate in general, uses the iPhone API.

To clarify between follow and mass follow, the output is username Mass Followed: 100 users

Please try your commenting again - this is based on webstagram which tends to be up and down with their servers.
