[WARNING] Maxbounty - Dont send them black traffic

The problem are the TOS of many ads network : they milk you, they make money, but before they pay, they try to ban a percentage of the affiliates. It's a way like others to make money.
It would be best to not registered with these networks. The opacity of operations is good enought to abuse and shave.

Well all i can say from my experience. I have been trying out 4-5 CPA sites and i am by no means a veteran in CPA but MB is giving me best conversions. I have been paid every time and on time, this weeks payment was even sent before the right day together with a letter thanking for good traffic. So i do not really know what the fuss is about... but these things happen
And for op, if they found you spamming, that is your problem. Dont break the rules and you would be ok.

And about that 6k u lost, it hurts im sure of that. Has happened to me also on a PPD site. But if it was my company, i would do the same, ban and not give out the cash. It is like "A robber goes and cons a bank for 6k$ and then expects them to pay him before he goes to jail" I mean really ?
Would you rather them ask for Instagram to drop a lawsuit on you for spamming ? If i was STeve and reading this right now i would turn to Instagram, talk about the situation and let them sue you for spamming. Im sure this woulg get the message through.
If you do BH, you can get fcked. If you wana hussle, learn how to do it without getting ur a$$ handed to you or learn to live with getting pounded by everyone

The issue that seems to keep getting glossed over is with the AM at MaxBounty. Everyone is focusing in on the OP losing the $6K but he's admitted he broke the TOS and when you do that you run the risk of getting banned.
Now to the issue of the AM, my guess is that these guys don't care if you're running black hat traffic as long as they see dollars going through. This is an internal issue I imagine for many networks where the AM likely gets paid based on performance. This leads to the problem of the AM looking the other way if he/she does know.
Now that's not true with every network or every AM but either:
A) The AM knew about the traffic and wanted to make more money and should be fired.
or
B) The AM was not informed about the traffic by compliance and in that case MB needs better quality control and communication.
Either way someone at MB should be getting an ass-reaming. There needs to be more communication with affiliates when there is a problem or you get problems like this where people start bashing your company because they think that you are just ripping them off.

Sounds good in theory, but is it viable in real life? Not familiar with contractual arrangements between affiliates and advertisers, but this does seem like the "common sense" solution. If the advertisers was happy with the traffic as the OP says, the only reasons I can think of to NOT do it is because the volumes/dollar values are too low to mess with, or there is some kind of "exclusivity clause" in the affiliate/advertiser's contract.
Is this done? If the situation is as the OP describes it, why WOULDN'T the advertiser be willing to work out a separate arrangement with marketers whose traffic converts, but the methods used to generate it fall outside the affiliate's ToS?

Well first let me say Maxbounty are the scum of the earth - because no matter what you say you are always wrong - and there is always an excuse // AM and compliance are seperate // AM says do more -- but still your not going to get paid.
HOWEVER OP Maxbounty cannot pay you for comment spammed Instagram leads - because they will get sued for the payment plus damages - as it would be an admission that they allow this and encourage this - which is a break of TOS of the Social Network.... assuming Social Network sued.
so 1. you made the mistake in the beginning of doing it 2. you didn't blank/change referrer according to a more normal campaign.
Yeah Maxbounty are scum for the way they deal with affiliates but you also made some pretty basic mistakes to compound the issue.

The underlined part isn't true. Earlier this year, MB went down while I was running traffic to a CPA offer, my AM wouldn't do anything to help me. Steve overrode my AM and added money to my account based on the last few days results. So, my AM was wrong, I was right.

No, my AM said I didn't qualify to receive any payments for the site being down. I know it was paid out to all publishers that had history to go with, I was new and had only been running the campaign a few days, maybe a week at most. I did voice that on a forum, and Steve stepped in and fixed it for me.

After reviewing the material here that has been disclosed, the young man's account of the goings on of this network, and its subsequent action; I most certainly will never bring any of my traffic to this network. Shame, I was considering this network for another niche project of genuine business traffic.

And I haven't been running any ads in the last few days. I didn't break the rules, I basically ran one ad through blogs, according to my AM that was fine. I wrote a story about Sony's new cloud gaming service, explained what the cloud was, then told them a good place to get cloud storage. I got a lot of clicks and only 5 or 6 conversations but at about 140 each it wasn't bad. They did exactly what everyone else said happened to them. I can only vouch for myself but I got screwed out of my money, I am moving on to other CPA's now. Just thought I would leave my story, because it is very similar.
