It has been running on my head a minute ago. Can I/we sell pirated win32 software on eBay? Will they allow it?
We will just post it like an original software. I don't know if anyone tried it. Just from a freaky side of my mind. :) Hope to get answers on this query. :)

You are a few years too late with that method... nip back to the late 90's and you will be ok.

most probably you listing will be taken down by VERO before you even manage to sell it and you will end up with your account being permanent banned

Someone will end up buying it who will report you. You can get in a lot of trouble for this. I wouldn't recommend it. You may have been able to get away with this years ago but not now.

You sure can put it up their but VERO is going to have a heart attack and take your listing down.
Honestly it is just to high risk for eBay....Think lower risk :)

Good Luck

You can if you want but you have to know your enemy before you go to battle.. If you don't know very well how ebay vero works leave it. Your listings will be taken down in no time and account banned very quickly!

I'm pretty sure selling pirated content is against the law. The penalty might not be as simple as a banned ebay account.

this is how i started. sold 7 copies of windows 7 ultimate like a year and a half ago. no idea how i got away with it. maybe cause it was on an account i had for 2 years prior with perfect feedback

Of course not. Copyright infringement is against eBay's (and almost every other website) policies. I do know there are sellers that hide under the radar and continue to sell said products.

Very few people are going to want to pay $$$ for a copy of software they could have downloaded for free.

I've been to Microsoft events and they show counterfeits there... and some are very good with all the holograms, etc. What are you planning to sell, a burn DVD?

You can.
You shouldn't.

:)

You can't!
and You shouldn't

Ebay takes your listings down within hours if you advertise it as a virtual item, or if you even sell the pirated version of it, which is even a more serious crime.

So the conclusion: DON'T DO IT.

Sure you could - but you shouldn't.
Way too much risk of prosecution for copyright infringement - and prolly 30 other infractions I'm sure they'll tack on.
No way would it be worth it.
