eBay listings normally show up in search results within 24 hours. Do not expect for your listings to appear
so immediately. If for some reason your listings are not showing up after 24 hours the eBay pulled your listing.

I am selling Items but not receiving any Feedback?

This is becoming an increasing problem with eBay members. However you can help generate more feedback by politely and not being to forward remind your customer to leave Feedback and that you will do the same with them. Besides that it would look bad to beg for Feedback and would be frowned upon.

hello, I have a question. if I were to have replicas being shipped from China,I know that customs inspects packages by weight. If I have small packages, such as 5kg shipped, do you think it will get through customs? I want to get at least 10 small 5 kg packages per week, do you think this is safe over time? or will it be likely to be seized since there are so many packages? thanks

You should be fine. But Never have your merchandise shipped to you directly. That is a big mistake people make.
Always have the products sent to your customer. That way your hands are clean and your not involved with the shipping.

Try contacting the seller again. If you cannot get the seller after that then
you might want to think about filing a claim. But it is best not to file a claim until
you have to and all attempts have been made to contact the seller.

Hi.

I sell on eBay and get paid strictly through PayPal. As of today (Aug 30, 2012) I?ve grossed about $16968.60. I downloaded PayPal sales figures from Jan 1, 2012 and manually added them yesterday to arrive at the figure. I have a few more auctions up but will shut down soon to avoid the $20,000 red mark and form 1099-K.

My question is this: Can I sign up my wife on eBay and PayPal and use her account and social security number to continue selling?
I have a new checking account I opened just for this option.

having a hard time finding products to sell with a decent profit margin. Ive tried dhgate, aliexpress, and tradetang. Also, I ave searched on terapeak, but it seems mostly electronics sell the best. Any ideas on how to find products that make consistent sells on ebay?

Well yes your idea works. However I see two main challenges. The first one is that yes your Wife can have a separate PayPal and eBay account. However eBay/PayPal will notice this and ask for further documentation from both accounts to prove it is not another account of yours. They will want SSN# and possibly a scanned copy of a Utility Bill or Government issued ID. Next Problem is since your married your going to want to joint file your taxes. If you do not then all income is counted as one and the second will not do you much good. Please note I am not a tax expert. Normally PayPal does not report earning under 20,000 USD. But as soon as they find out she is your Wife then I am not sure how they might react and report earnings in your case.

DHgate, Alibaba and tradetang are all excellent for large bulk orders and larger shops/companies. However their service is poor
and products cost a fortune with hardly no profit for the small start up seller. Concentrate your focus on finding smaller personalized middle men and suppliers. Yeah I know Middle men you usually try to cut out. But in this case it is well worth dealing in smaller order quantities with higher profit margins plus more personalized service. Basically a small seller needs a small supplier. Terapeak is great but it is only a tool. Do not use Terapeak to find what to sell. Instead think about what you can find from a supplier and then check it with Terapeak to check out the competition ect.

- One of my paypal accounts is limited. When I called their customer service, they had no idea because computers detect this. They said I could transfer funds after 180 days, but my bank and credit card info will be there forever unless I give them my identity. I can give all info (my suppliers, my financial information) except my photo IDs because I don't feel secure. How to deal with this issue? Is there a way to solve the problem? What would you recommend that I should do?

- I am from Canada and have purchased a US ebay account recently. I have not logged on because ebay can find out my Canadian IP. I am deciding to purchase StrongVPN. Do you think will it be safe?

That's definitely not a good idea. eBay blacklists all known VPN services.

Hello, Sorry to hear about your PayPal trouble. The only way to do something about this is to send in all of the documents
PayPal ask for including the scanned ID Pictures. If this is a legitimate account and everything is straight then sure your secure
sending in your ID. However if you do not you will need to wait for the 180 Days and withdraw it then.

As far as using StrongVPN. That is a better source than HMA(hide my ass) since HMA is so saturated and they have been known
to reuse IP's ect. Normally I recommend a VPS. But a VPN will only work if in fact the IP Address's are brand new and you are the only one who can use them (dedicated IP). Also you are still taking some risk if eBay has them blacklisted. eBay is your real problem here more so than PayPal.

Hello, Yeah you can have 2 eBay accounts connected to one PayPal. But I will tell you it is more of risk since you loose all accounts if their was a suspension. Also selling high risk items with 2 eBay accounts connected to one PayPal will in fact make red flags happen easier. In my opinion it is not the best of ideas.

One thing you might want to try to do if it is a Hot selling product is do a one day auction style list.
This will help raise your listing into the " Almost Ending " Category. Yes high quality pictures help and
make sure you include a nice description so eBay ranks your listing well.
