What happens with size conflicts? Will it just randomly pick one, use the first one always or will it not try to solve at all?

Also, can you add the name of the platform in the right hand panel that shows captchas? Type 1, type 2...those don't mean anything to me when comparing to left side. Difficult to resolve conflicts and know which platform it is coming from.

Just install the 32 captchas extras (another thread). I just did this 5 minutes ago. Then you have to manually select each captcha while checking platforms in GSA. This takes a bit longer. But it only took about 15 minutes to setup.

I get about 20% - 30% overall success rate and I'm sure I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm looking to improve the number, should I build them myself through the editing kit and stuff? Or are there version updates which I am not aware of?

As we discussed on skype, I don't recommend posting to more than 2 platforms at a time. If you select 2 platforms ...blogs & guestbooks for example, size conflicts shouldn't come up or it should be a very low number like 1. This will dramatically increase the success rate

Size conflicts explained:

Captcha Sniper algo works also based on image size, so if 2 different captcha types but with the same image size come through, it can result in a wrong answer. This won't happen all the time but it can decrease your success rate.

As for the request to add the name of the platform, I will ask Mike if he can implement it

That didn't answer my question. I was asking what actually happens when a size conflict is detected...does CS try to solve one of them at random, is it always the first one....I'm asking because I have 9 conflicts...and if it'll just pick a random one (and I retry 3 times) then eventually it'll probably get the right one. If it always does the same image, then there's no use in having the 2nd image w/ same size.

Could you have a look at the attached Captcha's and let me know if you think it could be recognised with any level of success. I have so far failed to get even one correct reading on it with the destruction kit. Before I waste hours more trying, I thought I would ask you in case you come back saying it would not be possible for some reason. This one has come up hundreds of time in my unknows folder and is very common on UD platforms. It would be a huge plus if I could get at least some level of solving on this one.

Well, as i aid, it has a high chance of getting a wrong answer, especially with 9 conflicts. If you would have 2 maybe 3 size conflicts wouldn't be so bad. But not all images have the same size. So for example type x with type xx would be the same size, then type y with type yy would also match. Size conflicts doesn't mean that 9 images are the same size. It would mean that there are size conflicts between 2-3 captcha types.

This is why I suggest selecting only 2 platforms at a time. Now I know that you would like to run AMR, BMD, GSA, NHSEO and SCRAPEJET at the same time for example. But as stated this would only dramatically decrease the success rate. Just select 2 platforms at a time and see which ones cause less conflicts.

Well that is the problem with CS, we have no way to know where it is coming from unless I sit for hours with CS and UD open to try and cross reference when I see one pop up. I have a folder with hundreds of them saved by CS if you just want a large quantity of them to try and work an algo out for. I would guess it is a bookmark site as I have been doing a lot of them lately.

I had problems with scrapebox on my vps and their support team sent me a file called sbprep.exe I don't know if you guys are familiar with it, but it must have deleted files that captcha sniper uses and now gives me an invalid license error. I tried to reinstall and used the most recent licensed file sent to me and still gives me the error.

I'm guessing I have to request another license but I already used mine a week ago. Guessing I'm have to pay to get another one?

In windows 7 the platinum version keeps giving me an error: Input past end of file-62. Also when I click on Use CSSE I get this one: Run-time error '53': File not found. I click ok and CS is shutting down. So I can't use it at all. I have installed it following your guide. I have CS since its first release and till now never got any problem after an update. This is the first time I get an error and I can't use it. Please help.

It would normally be easy to identify the sites using it. Just click one of the images and see what heigh and width they are. Then go to Google Image search, on the left sidebar enter exact size as per your image, and as a search term type captcha. It should come up at some point and you can follow it and see what site is generating it and furthrer mre you can identify the platform. Or you ould create an archive with all the images you have like that one which came up as unknown and email them to solveit[at]captchasniper[dot]com

Autopligg would be using decaptcher api so you would have to enter one of the following url's:

- poster.decaptcher.com
- poster.de-captcher.com
- poster.de-captcher.info
- poster.decaptcher-reloaded.com

In order to use api post, you would have to enable CSSE in Captcha Sniper. After enabling CSSE, go to the api part and also make sure that the port in Autopligg matches the port in CSSE. In order to chaneg the port in CSSE, you would have to stop the server in CSSE, change the port, save and then restart the server.

Well, we are not aware of any file provided by SB. But if you experience license issues, please reinstall CS. After reinstalling, make sure you that captchasniper.exe is set to run as admin and in win xp mode for all users. After that, go through the reg steps one more time and email Mike the reg code and mention the exact issue you experienced. He will then provide you with a new license file.

In this case you would have to do a clean reinstall the following way:

1. Uninstall Captcha Sniper and remove everything besides the .lic file. This is the only file which needs to remain in the CS folder. (when prompted during uninstall, please leave the files in the system32 folder untouched, don't remove them)
2. Reinstall Captcha Sniper and the error should be fixed.

For port 80, please read the refference in our guide book as we have detailed specs on how to identify and stop any program/service using port 80
