Black Hat Method Question re: keywords anchors & back links

I wanted to get opinions about an idea I came up with to drastically increase my blog's PR in a medium niche...

1. I used the google keyword tool to come up with a nice list of about 500 word phrase variants relating to my niche.

2. I pasted this list in condensed 1 point font format and repeated it about 10 times (5000 words total) in the footer of my blog which already has about 200 unique pages and grows daily...

3. Next I generated anchor key word phrase links from each of my phrases in my html editor....

My plan is relatively simple.. I will go about making hundreds..thousands of new blogs on various sites (using proxies) which all have these key word anchor link phrases embedded in the footers and will also include the full RSS feed for my blog and others which are related to my niche.. Along with this method, I am also manually building up a lot of one way back links on other sites, forums & blogs which are directly related to my niche. Essentially my goal is to raise my pr and drive targeted traffic to my blog for increased ad clicks and eventually affiliate links once my traffic levels improve.. (I'm thinking 10,000-20,000 unique hits per day would be great!)

My questions are:
1. Will this method work to drive up my PR?
2. What possible negative consequences might I be looking at?
3. How likely is it that my method will be detected?
4. Any practical suggestions to do this in a better way?

It's so easy to detect. All Google have to do is looking for small fonts anchor.

You will leave a massive footprint.

I kind of already thought of that which is why I put it in the footer and not another area.. This also has the benefit of showing up on every page that google indexes.. I mainly got this idea from warez blogs sites who do the same thing and end up at the top of the rankings. What is different about my site is that I actually have original content that isn't already on millions of other sites. Essentially, a trick to increase the key word density on my blog and then build up huge amounts of back links to my page from other anonymous blogs.

I think that yes, google monitors stuff but not as much as some probably believe they do and mostly only in certain niches where there is heavy competition for ranking and paid ad placement of which my niche is not one of these categories. It's a big niche yes, but not so much for selling products. Without giving too much away, it's more of a special interest discussion subject.

There are some serious problems with your plan...

no - PR per say isn't really important, but getting millions of backlinks from un-indexed or low PR pages is not going to raise your PR much if at all. creating tons of brand new pages which will be unindexed or PR0 at best will not help you in any way at all.

2. What possible negative consequences might I be looking at?

Google can detect keyword stuffing pretty easily and devalue or even deindex your whole website

3. How likely is it that my method will be detected?

99.9% - you might get lucky, but probably not - what you are doing is leaving an unmistakable footprint

This also has the benefit of showing up on every page that google indexes..

that's a bad thing - sitewide footer backlinks are being penalized - Google caught on that they were tooooo easy to get.

4. Any practical suggestions to do this in a better way?

the only part of this plan that's really good is the list of 500 related anchors you have.
Use that list to get a wide variety of different types of backlinks using those anchors.
try socialbookmarking, wiki and twitter backlinks with those anchors, still cheap but much more value and less work.

you should also use that list to make more pages of content on your website each page focusing on one of those 500 terms

Ah!! Ok thank you! I was waiting for some advice beyond "don't do it" from someone with more than only a few posts here, thanks a lot for your suggestions.. I have not actually implemented any of this yet because I wanted to get some feedback before I did.. I will definitely use your suggestion about my key word phrases, I have already converted them into anchor links and will start putting them out there on higher PR related niche sites.
