That is very specific question, and depending on the theme, it can take a lot of work. Basic principal is to clean every code that is calling for theme home.

Google WordPress SEO by Yoast. That is all I use.

Can you advise how I can redirect all pages in a subdomain to another url please. i have tried with /htacess but h0stgator do not have mod rewrite turned on in shared servers, all I can get is the main url to redirect, not the individual post.

What do you mean it doesn't? I used HostGator and I remember using mod_rewrite.

I believe there is no such thing. You can search for WordPress ctr themes, but for me that's all bullshit, the best optimization is done by yourself. Experiment and see what works best.

That code is probably in header.php, as it shows on every site. If you don't manage to find it, send me login and I will.

I have looked online for hours trying to figure this out, but there are contradicting answers and I don't just want to put lines of code into my site I found on random websites when I have no experience.

I am using Deepfocus by ET and I would like to remove the 'from the blog' section from the home page and replace it with another 'content area page'. When I go epanel-general settings- homepage, it clearly gives me options to fill in three fields, however only two show on the home page and the space where the third one should be is occupied by the 'from the blog ' section.

I know you are a busy guy, but any tips on how to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi OriginalEXEfirst thanks for this great thread, i want to change my permalink from showing dates, month, post title, to something like this /%category%title/, but i moved from blogspot to wordpress, will this affect the ranking? Will it result to 404 error page? Is there any plugin/code that can do it?Also some website show this on search. >home>category>tag>post title> how is that done?Thanks.

Hey, try using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-permalinks/

You need to redirect your old permalinks to new one if you want to preserve ranking.
