BHW Challenge: Change Your Body in 10 WEEKS!

If someone manages this and keeps a journal of progress and holds us accountable for weekly feedback, I'll do it.

6'5"
225lbs

I spend too much time in the chair and not enough working out.

wow you ssly need to lose it meh..

and yeah I do agree not enough working out and sticking on chair makes us fat. That's the only reason I'm lil fat.

I'm in as well. I need a change, used to be fit - now I'm just fat ;)

Currently 187cm & some 97kg (6'1" - 6'2" and 214lbs, I suppose?)

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!

Can I just drink beer for 10 weeks and do a reverse challenge?

Okay so I'm in.. and battle starts now. I know what I need to do and I'm just writing it here so it reminds me again as I will follow this thread.

1. I need to control on eating cheese or even avoid it completely.
2. Have to control on spicy Indian oily dishes which I can't live without :P
3. Completely avoid beer..
4. Have to fix schedule for treadmill.

I don't feel safe to put my photos here but I have taken a proof of how much weight I have right now.. so that later on when I lose I can post a similar photo to prove how much wright I lost. I'm 5' 8" and 75 KG or 165lbs as of now.

Awesome! The gym where I'm going has a rowing station, therefore I prefer to do my cardio there. Will post something like this soon, too!

I found out that there are 24 FAT IMers and only two SKINNY IMers here... which I am the second... :-)

I need to gain weight... shit this chair makes me thin... all I can blame is redtube and pichunter... lol

Going to beat this challenge! :-)

You are a BIG man.. I'm 5'11" and 136lbs... a bit too skinny and need to bulk in.

Yeah, I can carry 250-300 pounds easily. The problem is that some of the weight is starting to gather around my belly and my pants are getting tight.

I'm going to take the challenge above and exercise for 5 minutes a day. That's a 500% increase so surely I will see a difference.

Great challenge, this thread will help motivate myself and all the other IMers on BHW to get off the chair and start working out. Currently, I need to start bulking and gain muscle. I'm a 3days/week workout type of guy, but I stopped/paused my working out habit just this summer. I got really lazy. During this pause, I dropped by a few pounds and lost a lot of muscle; mostly my abdomen and my biceps (the cause of a person who sits on a chair and typing a keyboard goddammit!).

Goals:

- Build a good morning ritual; I'll probably start off my day with a good old home made protein shake and an oatmeal. If not the oatmeal, I'll probably just eat chicken with brown rice. All in all, calories. a lot. cause im skinny.

- Build a 3 day/week workout routine like before. This time, I need to lighten the workout since I'll have to start all over again. I bet my muscles probably won't even handle my previous workout routine.

That's it for now, so far. By the way, anyone here recommends weight gainer supplements?

You must be eating something not good, or to much..? I dont workout right now like a year, sitting almost 20h a day and still athletic body from old times when I worked out, maybe smoking helps me too...good diet, protein-amino and workout hard until the body shakes in the evening. I remember archieved very good results in 1 month already and there wasnt to much of discipline by when I go to gym and what eat.

Did you know that beer doesnt have anything related with weight growing? It wont make you fat or bigger belly. When you drink it, you eat more only, because it grows your apetite.

Ok im in, I need to loose weight, im 5'7" and weigh around 72kg. I used to weigh around 62kg last year when im still workin on my offline job, but after I quit and pursue IM full time I gained 10kg in around a year. Sigh! goal for 10 weeks loose around 10 pounds. 1 pound per week.

I would so love to believe that statement, but it is so wrong.

I drink a bit (not my fault - I'm Australian), and definately can see a pattern between beer consumption and stomach fat. I have noticed that low carb beer is much les prone to go straight to the waist.

One would expect that the OP should get thanks at least...humm?

Let me tell you that I did not used to drink 2 years back and my body were perfect at that time. Further I don't drink daily or even weekly.. its just occasionally and I have observed it clearly that beer increase fat. My diet is all same even if I drink..

Although I don't say beer is the only reason cz I'm fat but it was one of the biggest factor. Other factors are long sitting on chair, no workouts etc.

lol I've been on my own little challenge the past month. My goal weight is 90lbs.

I am currently:
5'1
108lbs

I should be there in 2-3 months.

I'm 6'4 201 pounds. Starting my workout today

i got the tower 200, perfect pull up, perfect push ups, dumbbell set, p90x, insanity and other workout programs, boxing gloves.

Sorry guys got messed up with some very urgent work but finally I have started taking care of my body. I have been working out daily and jogging in park near my house (treadmill is boring ;) ) since 22 July. I would also like to add that I have started taking a unique treatment for my lower back pain (sciatica) from a therapist. I must say his treatment is very unique and he gives slow electric shocks on the nerves.

I'm feeling much better now and I can feel good since I started jogging and this treatment. Thanks again to the OP to post this thread and it affected me in a positive manner. + rep
