It is a wordpress blog with tweaked twenty eleven theme and contains some 321+ posts with high quality content, I get 90% of the traffic from search engines and the rest 10% is direct. I have installed statcounter for analytics which reports 10-11k visitors/day and 30k page views/day

and When I directly sell my banner space to advertisers I use Adrotate Plugin too
As mentioned above I use WP Super Cache plugin to cache the webpages but even it's not helping much to handle the traffic because this plugin autodeletes the cached webpages in some time (phenoma named as garbage collection)
Now can you please tell me that can a dual core vps with 512 dedicated ram be fine to handle 50k visitors/day with this kinda website

I love my car analogies. You're asking people what truck you should buy to haul your loads but you're forgetting the most important thing... What are you hauling?
Put simply, unless we know what you're doing and how you're doing it, 50k visitors a day could be handled on a shared with some tweaks while on other hands it could require a dedicated server with dual quads to run smoothly. Platform? Queries? File size? Are you using a CDN or no?
Just on a pure visitor amount and assuming basic cms setup, you're looking at around a dual core with ~1.5 gigs of ram. The CPU will get you over most hurdles and the RAM is sufficient enough to play with MySQL settings to see if you need more or less. This is also assuming you go with a non-oversold VPS and is tuned out of the box.
