Hey there,

I got a new theme (Wootheme - Listings) and I am having a real tough time trying to figure out how it works. I am not being able to create listings on it. I created a few listings in the WP panel but its not displaying on the site. I've tried everything. I also have a few other questions as well. Can I PM you or find you on Skype?

I don't know if this has been addressed before but...

Is there a widget that shows all the content of your recent posts?

Basically a widget that shows the title + content and also show content from previous posts.

I ask because sometimes I deal with themes that won't let me show content from my recent posts and I was thinking of adding a static widget box on the main page that shows the recent posts.

I was never in Amazon niche so I can not recommend one from personal experience. Best you can do is head over to wordpress.org and search

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread....I havent read it all yet but its full of excellent information.....I have been looking into adding more security to my wordpress sites..On your recommendation.. I have just installed WP Better security on one of my sites to test it.... I know the publishers have to cover themselves by pointing out that some of the features can cause clashes but looking through the features there is a lot of warnings. In your experience is it safe in general to tick off all their suggestions ?? Or what few features would you consider must be ticked as a starting point....Again thanks

Hi, not everything is necessary, I don't use all of the options.

What I do:
Remove user with admin username 8I never even create it, but I know lot's of my clients do).
Change database prefix (again, I do that on installation, but most of users don't)
Schedule databse backup one per day.
Set max logins attempt to 5
Remove wlwmanifest header
Remove WordPress Generator Meta Tag
Remove WordPress Login Error Messages

I believe that is all.

Hi there OEXE, I was wondering.. I have a BST and one of the pictures is hosted in my website.

My problem is this, I want to change the picture in order to update the current pic in my BST but when I remove the current picture and put a new one.. the new one has a changed date: .../2012/06/reserved.png

How do I go about this? I want the file name to be the same as the original (EXACTLY as it is) in order to update the pic. Any suggestions?

Why does it have to be exact?

Do you have access to CPanel or ftp access?

It has to be exact in order for the BSt thread to be updated because that exact URL is what is in the BST. Changing it would require a few days or maybe a week to happen. I don't want to keep this every week when I get new good reviews.

I understand now

Ok, go to CPanel -> File Manager -> public_html -> yourdomain -> wp-content -> uploads -> year -> date -> Now name your new image the same as the old one, and then just upload it and overwrite the old one.
