No I didn't try to contact them after 'cause I knew I couldn't get my money back. Like someone said in another thread: when you sign up for PayPal you agree to let them screw you in any way they want. Period.

HELP. I've been dropshipping replicas directly from my supplier to customers on ebay, craigslist, amazon etc.

This morning i woke up to an email saying they have closed my acount and holding the money for 180days (y so long) and that any appealing would be denied.

The replicas i sell are of 1:1 quality (not the crap you get off dhgate, alibaba) i had no complaints, or negative feedback. I paid that little bit extra to avoid complaints, and deal only in quality.

Do i just sit back and wait, or fight my corner. They have no proof against me..

I do not think you kept $8000 in your paypal. If so, then you are crazy person in this world. You should always withdraw funds to your bank account. My sympathy with you, but you can not do anything, just wait for 180 days.

Could he do that? I don't know of any act regarding this kind of thing. This kind of thing are so very often now a days that some of us have given up trusting PayPal. Its just business.

After 180 days you will surely get your money. I know I did. They sent me an email before I even knew that the time has passed.. but if you do want to sue them, do it, any other way you won`t get your money back. Talk to a lawyer, see how it goes.

I had faced Same BS a year ago with PayPal and I start calling them after 90 days but they refused to release the money but after 180 days they release my money informed me via email about availability of funds to withdraw via US bank account.

i dont know how many times i have said this but never leave big amounts of money in paypal, withdraw it as soon as you get it, just leave as much in there as you need, i know it sucks, but you got to know paypal they will burn you in the end everytime

If you mean to boycott PayPal then it's not going to be easy. Many many businesses rely on them and people just can't afford cutting it.
You remember when Wikileaks account got limited? Many angry people (up in thousands) closed their own accounts and still nothing happened.
