I just wanted to take a few minutes to give a quick review of Ubot Studio.
1.) Ubot has completely revolutionized how I work. I have automated huge chunks of my day, and now I watch TV while doing tasks which used to take 20 minutes of clicking. Instead, Ubot does all the thinking for me and all I have to do is just watch over it and make sure there aren't any errors.
As my bots have improved I've even been able to stop doing this and now I just click go and then do something else, or walk away.
2.) Ubot has opened up significant new opportunities for me. I have built an entire new business around a bot which I developed that allows me to scrape together results from many different websites and display an aggregated report for my clients. This is a service which no one else in the world can offer, and ubot has made it possible.
3.) The ubot team is very responsive and has worked hard to help me become successful with the software. I have really enjoyed working with Seth, John, Jason, Ed, and the rest of the ubot team. There is also a fantastic community built around ubot and I've made several friends, and we all are working towards automating our business.
Now, the catch. Here are some limitations which I thought would be prudent to share:
Some people have experienced some technical issues with the ubot software. I have not, and the one time I did have a problem, I received a prompt response from support which ultimately solved the problem.
I have also had trouble with writing advanced bots with 5,000+ lines of code in them. The software has trouble rendering all the blocks and so it slows up. In most cases this won't be an issue for you as most bots will hover around 500-1,000 lines of code when they mature. I've learned to break my bots apart into smaller pieces. But it is something to keep in mind.
The reality is that the negatives are so small that you probably won't notice them at all. Ubot is incredibly simple to get into and you won't even really need to know programming to get started. Just prepare to become addicted like I have to the software. I have trouble making it through a day without opening the software up and working on the myriad of projects I now have going. It is fantastic, and really will expand your horizons.
I did look at Zennoposter when I was originally researching Ubot. People were concerned that there were things Zennoposter could do which Ubot wasn't capable of. There is only one limitation that I've run into with ubot: it doesn't handle Javascript popups very well. Other than that I have not run into any issue or site where I couldn't solve it with ubot. Even flash based sites were pretty easy to conquer.
Overall I highly recommend ubot, its well worth it.
