has cheated me over $300 and it's been several months.

Why I am posting this thread so late?

I didn't see any activity of him on this forum for the last 3-4 months and he's started posting threads to hire people in March & May. I want to let BHW guys know that he's a cold blooded scammer

How did he scam me?

I worked for him as a Customer Service Agent, after he chose me from my PM. We both agreed for the initial payment of $100 per week, which will be more sooner (a month or two).

Apart from being a Customer Support Agent, I was also actively taking part in the growth of his business. As an MBA graduate and a WP website builder, I was constantly pouring in my suggestions for the improvisation of his website(s) and how to get back the customers he lost over months due to poor service.

My job was to respond to emails and I saw a shit load of emails claiming refund (dated since February 2011) 'coz they didn't get the shoes ordered.

Alright, here I smelled something going wrong and I spoke to him about the same. He said that his partners didn't deliver the product; he's under debts and now bringing the business back blah blah.

He then told me that I shall continue my work and will be paid fortnightly. I was ok with it and continued working for him. After 15 days, he asked for my paypal id and I gave him right away. He then said that the payment will be done in a couple of days. I continued working for another 3-4 days; no payment came in.

I wrote him an email asking for the same. He said that he's got some issues with the Credit Card and will try to send the payment in a week or less. I had no option but to stop the work as he already owed me $300 for 3 weeks of work.

He came online after 15 days only to give me some shitty reasons and made a final promise that the payment will be made in 10 days so that the work can be resumed.

He's yet to be online on Skype. I tried calling his phone, sent messages, emails, PMs but he ignored everything.

Now he's actively searching for more guys to scam in BHW. SCAM ALERT

When he came back after a month, he said that he's got a loan or something and finally back in business. Regardless of whatever, he shown 0% courtesy and I got pissed off wasting more than 50 hours for this guy and betterment of his biz

We had a big chain reaction disaster in which we ended up loosing 5 figures (+much more in potential business) and a shit load of data that started with our merchant processor. Sampath was hired literally right before this happened. He was very diligent with his job, but in all actuality his work became useless due to the severity of the situation. So it was loose-loose for both us and Sampath. He knows a little bit about it but he does not know the extent. He is not the only individual on this forum, there are two other employees who were also affected. However they are also not the only individuals affected and the damage as the fiasco piled pretty high--I said 5 figures. I have partners who lost some significant things. However, we're slowly putting things back together, so Sampath will be taken care of. We're not out to scam anybody, especially not for free work. I'd do it myself before I do that. Do understand dealing with retail online is not as easy as some may like to think from the outside looking in.

Sampath is a good guy and I will be contacting Sampath to settle this matter. I understand that he has gone this route due to lack of response on my part. I believe I can settle things with him because I think we're a bit cooler than this. Also none of that contact information is accurate.

Like I mentioned in my first post, I didn't get a single response from your side and I had no option but to start this thread. You said there's a couple more guys from BHW who were not paid. I have no idea whether they got paid later or got replies from you. May be they didn't work their ass off or took this job seriously.

I was totally frustrated and I was really happy that I got a good job (I was literally almost broke when I was chosen for this job) and got shocked when you disappeared totally. I trusted you down to the bottom and hence agreed to continue the work even when the initial payment was delayed. But all the hopes you given me turned out as nightmares to me.

Btw, I just responded to your PM. I'd be more than happy if you could just make the payment.

I'd suggest you pay the people you owe before owing more people. This will snowball into a lot of people losing time and money if none of your ventures pan out. Gamble with your own time, not the time of others.

Like, if I didn't make any money, well you shouldn't either. I was ripped off by someone here, how I found the place & while there are many great apples. There are many crab apples who have no sense of business.

The OP is right in asking for the dues. He is also right in opening this shitlist. The accused is still hiring members here when he knows that he is unable to pay any of them, including the 3 members hired earlier. So he is doing more harm in hiring members at this moment. He MUST stop hiring unless he pays all those first.

Smells very fishy... all the reasons he states cannot be verified and hence those reasons should be considered part of a possible scam of cheating members here. We need to put our foot firmly down on such cases and protect the interests of our working members here. That's it, IMHO.

OP (and other 2 members) MUST get all the dues immediately and until then the accused must stop all the new hiring process here.

@Servant...: Pay OP from your personal account immediately if your so-called 5+figure or 6+figure company is twisting and churning in the ocean of mishaps. Whatever the cause for that belly-up then and belly-up-to-sideways now, there is at least ONE BHW member who hasn't been paid by you, the hiring agent, and that payment MUST be settled immediately. Your company didn't hired him, you did and so you pay him out of your own pockets when your company can't.

Well, many BHW members can be really provoked if such a "big-time company" (which takes loss of 5+ figures in no time at all!!! REAL HARD to BELIEVE this reason) comes here with a sole purpose of cheating members...

Servant...: You have almost always come here on BHW to open threads in Hire a Freelancer section. You have possibly been hiring members for various different businesses every time. Still, you don't have a single i-trader against your name!!! Not stating that it spell any wrong doings on your part, but I am wondering why no members have given you a single i-Trader!

Considering that you are unable to pay the members here, have all those different "businesses" really gone belly-up with one slap by a single business mishap? You seem to fit the adjective given to you by OP in this thread. IMO, just pay him and others and get your name a bit whitewashed again.
