The Gig

Looking for a confident individual in the city to secure projects for our design company. We'll provide you with sample material and send you directly after potential clients via the web. These people will already be looking for web design so all you have do is intercept them and get them to give you the project. You'll have our entire portfolio to refer to which contains web, mobile, and print projects.
Requirements
============
You need the internet, and the ability to scan and e-mail.
You will have to take on the mindstate that you have your own design company, you can create basically anything, and you won't be undersold--however you may decide to be generous.
There are no time restrictions or deadlines on when you have to find clients, and there is no minimum # of clients that you must find. However, when securing projects it is advisable to be respectfully diligent in corresponding with the potential client.
Compensation
============
You will take 20% of each project you secure. The lowest we'll go with projects is $500. So no matter what, you know that you're coming out with atleast $100 out of the deal. The client has either two options -- pay a 20% deposit up front at contract, or pay a 50% deposit upon mid-completion. Whether you get paid up front or at mid-completion depends on what you work out with the client.
As far as the legalities & taxes, you will sign on with us as an independent contractor for an agreed upon amount of time. You will be a independent contractor so you will be responsible for your own taxes (as a lot of you already are)
