Greg sent me the report today. Thanks. Wondering about the bonus articles Dan talked about. I haven't seen a boost on serps right now but i am sure it will show up soon . To be honest, the two things i can complain about for this order is the relevancy (the article is irrelevant to the niche) and article lenght (2700 words!!), 500 words is enough. A long article like that will lead to a lot of resemblance in the eyes of Google, which is not good in general.

Honestly a longer article is actually better as it will look unlike your average poster out there and is a bit more unique. As to relevance my take on that for my own backlinks is that the content is just camouflaged fodder to get the bots to crawl the site and give credence to your links.

I've experimented on that over the years and for about 3 years now my results have been that the relevance of the article means little to nothing.

And when I say I experiment, I spend 60% of my working hours experimenting and at least 60% of my experiments fail and this is one of the ones that continues to not disappoint.

A long article like that will lead to a lot of resemblance in the eyes of Google, which is not good in general.

To be honest, I do not see any issue with the long article, as my 12+ years old site has over 1,000 posts, with roughly around 4,000-6,000+ words per post, which ranks very well. It depends on how well the article is written, which may not an issue with SHH network.
