How to start from scratch?

Hi folks,

I've been reading a lot about Pinterest and Amazon and using Affiliated Programs to earn money.

Would anyone be so kind to provide me with a "Dummies" version of how to start earning money using Pinterest and Amazon Affliliated Program?

I'm not looking to make thousands a week but more to educate myself more on how this all works.

I unsure how much you know about online marketing so far, but it may be hard for many newcomers to get the hang of.

The reason BTB posted what he did is because there have been a swarm of articles about Pinterest and Amazon linking to this forum, so we are all anticipating (and many are dreading) a noticeable increase in new members joining this forum and bombarding it trying to find out how to cash in on Pinterest and Amazon.

I can appreciate that you want to learn, and you can accept that you might not make even $1k in a month, but honestly there is a TON of information on this forum, just search, learn and figure it out. A lot of Amazon stuff is only available to Jr. VIP so I don't think you will get much response here anyways, it may violate forum policy to leak what is in Jr. VIP and to open talk about Amazon spamming.

I started a month ago and I'm still pulling 12 hours a day. Trying to make money off the internet is tough, but if you got a dream, make it happen. I'm grinding away for hours each day with NOTHING in return.

My advice to you:
1. Read the stickies on each of the subforums. For instance if you're interested in starting your own website then look up under the white hat seo subforum. Tons of great posts to get you started.
2. Don't limit yourself to this forum. People always want the beginning to end guidance. This isn't kindergarten, flip those 100 page textbooks and learn all you can.
3. If you want some free get rich schemes advice for free, not possible. Nothing is free, especially not some get rich scheme.
4. Lastly, ask for advice after you've done your end of the homework. If you're intelligent enough to know what you want, you should know that failure starts with laziness.

One month in and still nothing in return, but I'm still dreaming, so please don't be discouraged. Good luck!

Starting any new business is tough... internet or otherwise.

People think that the internet is going to be easier than a brick and mortar business and it is not... it is no different than starting a brand new business.

Lots and lots of hours (12 is cute per day) and nothing in terms of cash right off.

If you want to be successful in any new business venture at all expect to work a lot of hours and expect to see nothing in return right off but if you do it right those hours will turn into decent long term cash.

That is true, but it is obviously easier or to have some money aside or to earn part time. I am like you i.e. been working a lot 12 hours daily but cannot see big results and 20 dollars does not feed me for a month....so now I'm looking either to find a part time job and keep on doing IM or to start real business with an office and also long working hours.
I have previous experience but I got fed up with customers and people who always wanted something and were calling me. Then I heard of IM and the dream started as I really wanted to make it without any customer service and without working such long hours.
Then I heard all those stories of the guys who work 2-3hours daily and I find it hard to believe in it.
I guess in IM is about finding what you really like and pursuing it. The problem is that for many reasons we want/need quick results and we drop. Also if one method works for someone, it does not mean it will work for us, but definitely we shall keep on trying.
If something works, stick to it. I had small results with You Tube and Amazon affiliate links only. Good luck to all!

If you don't think IM is a real business you won't be able to make any money.
back to the point. Yes, pinterest is a big thing now and many are banking with it. BUT it's not for noobs.
You will need a huge supply of accounts, you will need custom bots, you will need vps/servers, you will need elite private ips and guess what? all these cost money.

First you need to learn. Then you put what you've learned into action. You will see some success and LOTS of failure. Now It all depends on you, either you decide to learn from your failures and rise back up again OR you decide that IM is not for you and move on
