Facebook Page taken down!!

Hello All -

A close freind recently lost his company facebook page that was professionally built with all the bells and whistles (from contact form to estore) with over 5000 fans. It was taken down for copyright issues, when in fact my friend owns the brand. He is struggling to even get a decent conversation with facebook (as they dont list a phone #). He is a great guy, and has worked extremely hard to get his company going.

Any ideas / suggestions into how to get this facebook fan page up would be highly appreciated.

Haha! Yeah just saw that. I thought he posted in a wrong thread, but really, I'm amazingly intoxicated

About the page, I don't think anything would ever work other than trying to get their attention. I guess he already did, still checking, did he try the Help page? Earlier Facebook used to provide email support which I don't think they do anymore.

Facebook sucks!! Just tell the to blow you and that's what can you do, nothing else... They have no "contact us" page, no phone, no address, no email, no support, not a single shit that can help you resolving problems!

That's when somebody doesn't give a shit about you!

Tell your friend to post in his personal or company blog (if he doesn't have, he should make one immediately) about facebook and their great support and actions! Making them a negative advertising is the best way to catch their attention.

anyways, i guess the best thing to do is wait for a reply. if your friend did everything in his power to get fb's attention then that is all he can do. if things go south then he knows that he did everything in his power rather then having that thought 'what if'.

Did a little research:

Try to call Facebook. As of 2010, the company number was (650) 543-4800. If you are calling from outside the United States, be sure to include the international calling number for the US. Choose Option 1 and a message tells you we don't have phone support. Choose option 7 to leave a message and they will ignore you. LOL!

Thanks everyone for your input. My friend has already emailed Facebook, n now is waiting for their reply. In the mean time, I will try the phone # Bert provided.

If anyone has any other information, that would be helpful too.

Its really difficult to get the page back. They dont reply most often even
if they reply they dont deal in long discussion.
They get lots of emails from other people and its tough to reply all those.

Hopes of getting it back are very low but you could try through the suggestions of other members.

Yeah there is like a 95% chance he is not going to get it back. Sucks when stuff like this happens.
