@andreyg13: I know because I have AMR too
With AMR, CS seem better because many Directory using simple captcha.
I do not decry CS, I only hope you support Recaptcha.

Thanks for the DLL.

The server continues to give the 'not effective' error. I am using ClamWin, which is extremely unobtrusive and is not doing online monitoring of files. Windows firewall is entirely disabled. For Public Domain and Private.

What else needs checking? I have a strong background in IT (real IT, not helpdesk) and prefer not to share my desktop. Just let me know what else needs to be looked at and I will do it. Is there a logging mode we can enable? I looked through the event viewer and the program directory and Captcha Sniper doesn't appear to write any logs by default. I would take this to email but from a google search I think many people are experiencing this issue and it would save you a lot of support work and other people headaches if we resolve it here in the public eye.

Simple question, this can be used only with prebuils cms/webstes or can be used with every website that ask captcha?

I don't complain about paying the $70 for the tool as is.

But just to be clear I am sure I saw a post from you saying buy it now before the price rises due to Recaptcha coming soon .... so it was some deceptive marketing on your behalf.

Even with that I am not complaining because I use it with tools where it is effective .... I am hoping you make recaptcha more of a priority because it certainly dominates alot of Seo usage.

Thank You.

AFAIK that post was made just BEFORE the recaptcha graphic was updated to include black spots and other distortions, which made a lot of the devs work null and void. Captcha solving will always be a cat-and-mouse game, just like SEO in general. People have to deal with it.

Np, I understand that perfectly. I have posted that this is normally because of the antivirus or antispyware people have on their machines. I would have long posted a solution but it depends from machine to machine.

Well, actually i have seen it happen on ClamWin machines. Did you also try to disable ClamWin and retry?

Captcha Sniper is working with every tool which posts/regiters to websites which use captcha types supported by Captcha Sniper

Well, we didn't lie about that, the price will be raised that wasn't just a line to push people into buying. So this wasn't deceptive marketing.

Let me ask this, if we would have rolled out recaptcha and let people know a few days before that, that we will raise the price.... what type of marketing would that have been? ;)

Every aspect and feature of Captcha Sniper is a high priority for us, an as mentioned before it is work in progress.

Unbelievable how much bitching is going on around here about recaptcha this, and recaptcha that. There has been zero misleading of information anywhere. Use it, understand it's limitations and move on. If you feel that strongly about solving recaptcha..do yourself a favor and get a book on neuronetworks and programming. Have fun.

Andrei,

I have tried contacting you on skype but no reply. It's been around a month since I bought CS and I can't get it to work on my VPS. CSSE says Port 80 is being used, but I did netstat and nothing is using Port 80. Can you maybe try to tell me how to fix it on this thread or by PM or something? Because I can't get to you on skype. Thanks.

There is nothing to disable. Clamwin only runs on-demand. It is not a running process. So, antivirus is disabled, firewall is disabled. Those two are not possible sources of interference. What else would you check if you had access to my machine right now?

I'm seting up a dedicated SEO computer and need to transfer my license but can't find answer to the following question:

- How do I transfer my captcha sniper license from one machine to another?

thanks!

I didn't get any requests on skype thou.... anyways, please check if you have installed net framework 3.5 and 4.0 (both). This might also cause the port 80 beeing use bug.

In case it doesn't, please PM me your skype id here and I will hel you get it sorted since I will be online today most of the day :)

Check if you are running CSSE.exe as admin
Also you would need You need to install .netframework 3.5 even if you have higher version.

In case you are running Windows 7, you got it built and is already available but partly enabled

To make it fully enabled please follow these steps:

- Go to control panel => Programs & Features => Turn windows features on or off (on the left side)
- You can find microsoft .net framework 3.5 partly activated there. Click Microsoft .net framework 3.5.1 and Enable both windows communication foundation HTTP activation and windows communication foundation non HTTP activation.
- Apply the changes and save it.

i'dont run

What exactly do you mean?

I'm seting up a dedicated SEO computer and need to transfer my license but can't find answer to the following question:

I want to transfer too, how do I transfer?

If you wish to transfer your license to a new machine please follow these steps:

1. Unistall Captcha Sniper from your current machine
2. Install Captcha Sniper on the new machine
3. Go to the Captcha Sniper folder, right click captchasniper.exe. Go to compatibility mode and set it to run in windows xp mode and as admin for all users (exactly like you did before)
4. Double click captchasniper.exe and enter your transaction id
5. Copy the reg code and email it to license[at]captchasniper[dot]com and mention the license transfer

Mike will get back to you with the license file :)

thank you for your answer. On a side note:
I'm planing to set up my computer with Windows 2003, and noticed what is written on your site.

Does Captchasniper work on a Windows 2003 OS?

What exactly to you mean it doesn't have .exe. It should be an archive which containes the guide and the install kit. I have also sent you a PM with the download link.

Let me know if you experience any issues
