Best Themes for a Authority Site

Hi Everyone

I am planning to start some Authority sites.

For that purpose,I needed some help from you.

I wanted to know some good themes for Wordpress which are good for an Authority site.

The only one coming to my mind is Thesis but I would like some other suggestions as well.

Thanks for suggestion.I checked the theme and came to know that it has various skins.

Is the color only difference between all skins ?

I think they are on V.5 now but color is not the only difference between the versions, go ahead and research it a little because i use a older version and am not familiar with the newer.

Are magazine themes good for an authority sites? Theme junkie has some good one, i personally like. What do you think?

The best and most customizable theme is probably Catalyst. Once you get that theme you don't need any more themes.

When you are looking for a theme always should check how good it is for SEO (there are plenty of themes with really bad onpage seo) and how heavy it is.

Another thing you myght want to consider is how easy/hard is to customize the theme. Most of themese are too complex and it needs a lot of experiences to change something simple, like a bullet point list, for example.

Another great one would be Headway Themes. They have a great drag and drop feature for building your themes and more.

heatmap isn't that great IMO. I have maybe 50 sites on it, had more but change them as I get a chance. I would never consider using it on an authority site.
