Pinterest is pretty cool. I was never interested in any other social networks or bookmarking sites but just saw them all as marketing tools. I've found some cool stuff on pinterest including a recipe for bacon chocolate chip cookies. I don't see many on BHW seeing success on pinterest because YOU DO NOT THINK LIKE A WOMAN AND THUS YOU ARE ANNOYING.

That said, I've tried some SEO experiments with Pinterest and have found that the boards rank with relative ease and quite quickly. Maybe that would be a better route for some of you?

I get about 300 views each time I put up a pic of one of my own products. I also put a good description under the picture. I also pin pics from other sites such as for recipes, fashion, funny pictures. How many people are following your boards? I have a lively bunch of followers. They interact, comment, and repin. I also do the same for them. Don't black hat Pinterest and it will work for you.

I have account on revenue sharing site and I upload articles their, so when I read about pinterest what I did, just uploaded photos to the existing articles and pin it. But now I am out of articles lol..

You have a good concept. You just have to find a way to make it work. Are your articles interesting to women?

I have a quick question about my own Pinterest ventures that I'd like some help with. I have a website set up for my band via wordpress. I just created a hidden page on the website that's only accessible if you know the URL (at the moment, only I do). On this page I have a gallery set up that posts images I've downloaded from funny image forums (funny pictures from You Laugh you lose threads). There are about 50 images in the gallery so far. I pin images from the gallery to Pinterest, and as a result, they link back to my site. While all the visitors land on is my gallery page, if they're so inclined, they'll click on the "Listen" tab at the top of the website and check out my music. By having the page hidden from both users and search engines (using meta robots plugin), I can keep the integrity of my band website in Google and not have random images show up when people search for my band name, and I can also have a portal to lead pinterest traffic back to my site, and with any luck, people will check out my music.

Got about 50 visitors yesterday. Will report back as things progress to see how downloads/sales of my albums look as a result of this experiment. There is no adsense on the website at all.

I'd just like to know if this method is "safe," in terms of copyright etc, as all of the images are just random memes from around the web and I don't think anyone owns the copyright on them.

Well, I spent hours yesterday posting about 1k pins that linked directly to affiliate products then woke up today to see 550 clicks, 150 unique visitors, $0 earnings.
Those women on there are just window shopping.

how about throwing up a iframe of email submit offer to recieve something about that product.. - black hat (quick cash)

or have them opt-in to mailing list, and email them an offer according to the product.. - white hat (slow, but long term money)

I'm not positive, but I don't think you'll have a problem.

Only 1 or 2.
But I got some articles that are on recipes and I realize that both men and women are interested but I got only 3 repins not more than that to any of my pins...
How much repins you have got ? whats the largest number till now to your pins?
