Tier 2.0 Strategy

Okay... I just started my backlinking strategy and have a quick question.

Since I just started my campaign, I am slowly buildng up links via private blog networks (PBN). I am not building too quickly or srongly. Instead, I want to start slowly and go stronger as time passes.

Here is my question:

Now that I have built these PBN backlinks, am I supposed to go out and now build 2nd tier links to the aforementioned PBN backlinks? That is, I need to have a 1st tier and 2nd tier strategy?

Since the only way to find these PBN backlinks is through searching g00g (because these PBNs do not publish their website URLs), I must spend time locating each and every PBN backlink.

Then once I locate these PBN backlinks I am then supposed to write another freaking article that gives a 2nd tier backlinks to the PBN backlink?

This whole process seems overwhelming and potentially expensive.

Should I just pay a guy on fiverr to give me 2nd tier links? That could get expensive.


In a nutshell:

1. MUST I build 2nd tier backlinks for my backlinking campaign to be effective?

2. If yes, what is the best and cheapest way to do this?

3. Do I need to do this is each and every one of my PBN backlinks?

4. Any suggestions as to where or how I can locate a decent 2nd tier service provider?

Depends on the site and approach. Two tiers is generally a minimum in my experience, but you have to take into consideration how competitive the keyword is. If it isn't very, you can hammer through and nail it with one tier sometimes. If it is highly competitive, then you need a much bigger effort.

You are dead on when you say building the damn things takes forever. Personally, I think my time and money is spent better off doing other things. You can find services like those offered by Internalsoul and Chris Devon on BHW that do it all for you at a cost starting at maybe $40. I've used both with great success.

Beats the hell out of doing it yourself!

you can check what the most services offer as secound tier. forum profiles or blog commenting is quite common.
i do web 2.0 as secound tier as well. and then from time to time as scrapebox blast on the secound tier.

i think you have to organize as system which is not time consuming for the secound tier. spent time on the first.

if you are thinking of a fiverr gig as tier 2 you can do it for more tier1 propertys. its not necessary to support 1 tier1 with 10000 forum links.

Second tier is important, but you dont have to write quality content for that. You can use spunned content.

I have bought spunned articles from hi's site, it's very cheap. Those articles aren't very readable, but good in'uff for second tier.

Also if you want to automate this project more, you can buy uber blog creator, it is sold on this forum and price is $77 (at least week a go). It opens you as many web2.0 sites as you want and also post your spunned articles with links to them.

then it is not more 2nd tier if you have a link to the money site. it is first tier as well and something like a linkwheel.

Generally I use a 2nd and 3rd tier in my campaigns, never less than a 2nd tier but that is just how I do it. Going slow and steady on your first tier is a great method, when it comes to the subsequent tiers you can get quick and dirty with them. I generally just mix it up and do a little bit of everything with spun articles (posted to article directories, blogs etc), blog comments, forum links. Just keep it diverse and you are heading in the right direction.

This is what i am doing to rank a very hard keyword with 85k exact monthy searches and it is going very well slowly but going up every week

Tier 1: original SEO readable article on ezinearticles OR hubpages OR squidoo OR blogspot, etc. all web 2.0 sites or article dir. with high PR works.

Tier 2: 1000+ blast with senukex or something that do the same using crap, spun or duplicate content with 2-3 links to tier 1 url. make sure you randomize your anchor text as much as you can.

Tier 3: Wait 2 weeks and check alive urls with scrapebox. After that SP*M that sh*t as much as you can... you can use SB comments/trackbacks, profiles, wiki links or AMR....

dont wait for serps movements. repeat with other buffer site

What I am doing I write one unique article 4oo+ words and publish it on several web 2.0's. I submit it to 6 web 2.0s the latest testing. and created backlinks on the web 2.0 urls. Is doing magic as I am on page 1 for my main keyword in google, bing and yahoo.

You have to get every type of links.

Home page link, article links, social bookmark, directory submission, profile links, wiki links, edu links, blog comments, hgh PR comments and a lot of Scrapebox blast not directly to money site but this can be to you tier 3 or tier 2. depends on your experiment.

The key is link diversification. doing this will make you page 1 because for me it worked pretty well and stayed there as well. =)

i am publishing almost 100 articles a month.... can't blast them all with web 2.0s.... or should i?

I would say no, don't consider your 1st tier private blog network posts as something you should build multi tiers to.

You don't own and you don't have control over those blog posts. You can't control how spammy/crappy the domain will become (especially if its a PBN that allows individuals to submit their blogs just to get credits). Why build up a website you don't own and have no control over?

Good tier1's ...

1) non-auto-accept quality article directories, such as ezinearticles. If your article is accepted there, it will pretty much always be there. Crap is not allowed on the site. Google knows any article that is put on ezinearticles had a manual review.

2) web2.0s. If you get a blogger, wordpress, typepad, etc. blog ... that is yours. As long as you're not pushing extreme junk for spun articles, those properties will always be there. You fully control them, their outbound links, etc.

Basically anything you can control, is d0follow and gets easily indexed in Google, is great for making a tier1 that you build additional tiers to.

how much competition is there? it could prove very beneficial to build 2nd tier, i always do so myself.
