Average people don't know that, but if you want to make sure that the less amount of surfers can discover the trick, you can set the timer to a longer time for example...

I already did this year-year and half ago, using simple content locking of the page where download link is located. Bad side of this and why I actually stopped using it is that most big forums will ban your links very fast for the same reason why they banned sh...cash links or because your site is not on their approved filehost list. Another bad side is that filehost site may take some legal actions against you for web forgery. Don't even try to make your own filehost site (remember what happened to megaupload, also many filehosts are closing now...)

I think the biggest issue people will have with this is getting banned.
I mean if people click the link and are forced to sign up for some CPA then of course they will be pissed of and report that in the forum. You get banned in no time.
I really don't see how you can make money with this.

That's why you spam the forums to death or if you prefer you can post a few legit links to downloads then slowly mix in the fake ones. Another idea is switch out the links after you got a few people commenting saying its good, You can also use 2 accounts. One for posting and a 2nd one that posts mirrors to downloads... kill the link the 1st account posted so everyone starts using the mirror.

I'm a little unsure of this one, it looked great at first but with some of the comments I am a little leery.
