Where's the big money?

Big Money is where you can find it, if you can't run a SMALL I.M biz sucessfully, you'll never own a larger own.

Some sell tiny services like YT views and make or FB likes and make 5k+ every week off it, I know a guy who does.

Most of those who made profits >50k, started with few hundreds, start small but think big still works.

Great advice. I used to find myself falling into thoughts of hitting riches in a short period of time, and obviously, it hasn't happened. That VERY rarely happens. Everyone has to start somewhere, so don't get ahead of yourself.

I don't make a ton of money, but I make more every morning. And let me tell you one thing; once you have some cash flow coming in, it becomes 100000 times to make money.

I know I'm probably reiterating what is said on this forum over and over, but hey, this is true: once you make some money, just keep expanding. For example, I flipped a site for a niche chunk of change. What's my plan now? Take a portion of that money and do what I did 10 times over.

Sorry, think I'm getting a bit off topic here, but point is, don't get too ahead of yourself. You can make $50,000 a month, but start smaller :)

Just to add to your AWESOME post, how scalable the idea/opportunity is.

Before I got into selling SEO Services/Content Writing, I used to be a franchise of a popular corporate training company. But, scale was an issue, as it was dependent on the working hours of my partner and I. From sales, support to the training, everything ran between us and we were just getting those few sessions a year. I hail from a small city in India, where we could not too many good clients

As a pastime, we both started writing content a few years ago; and today we've trained over a 50 writers to work to our expectations. This was difficult in training. Similarly, for training, the few companies and colleges in my city were the prime clients, while today the whole INTERNET is a possible client.

It's all about Scale IMHO.

The company I work for make big money re-lining sewers. Basically sewers have a life expectancy, once the sewer gets past that you need to replace it (or you used to). Normally this would involve digging up the roads and generally making a mess and taking ages however we use no dig technology to get round that.

That, in my opinion is where the money's at!

Where's there's muck there's brass!!

Selling your own product (other people to sell them), Referrals and SEO. Fast cash also works if you find a hole on facebook and hire someone to make you a script to spam the shit out of it.

Then invest those money in few offline business that you think they will last. Like food for example... people will never stop eating :) Everything else will be gone in about 10 years like all other great things in the past.

Ok this is really off-topic but just want to add to the discussion :

"The amount of money we want to have is inversely proportional to the time we want to spend on earning it "

Create your own product, there is where the big money is.

Any idea what this stock is?

I often think that, if I had to do it all over again...I would choose the stock market and day trading...or currency trading.

It depends what you call "big" money.

50k a month is NOT big money to me.

100 million a year is big money.

How do you get to that point?

What I have figured and what I am working on is building a site
that GOOGLE or one of the big boys wants or needs.

A site that has a functionality or user base that Google might want.
Think Groupon--- Google wanted it... and offered billions.

They always pay in millions and billions.

Google buys companies all the time.
It is hungry for new platforms and ideas.
They are always looking for the next big thing and are willing to take a chance on the little people.... if you have your shit together.

Offline business can make money... but it takes a lot of resources and money.
Oil is big and will always be big... but good luck getting in on that.
Exxon and the big corps have it monopolized... they supply it ... they control it.
you will only get scraps of the profits.
Gold is good too... but like oil... they are up and down all the time.

If 50k a month is what you are shooting for.... from my experience... stick to IM... it is way easier and faster to make that with IM than any other field.

Yeah good advice. ^^

Personally if i made $2m I'd stick it in a bank and quit working forever....No need to make tens of millions.

I said $50k month because most think $60 day is BIG money on here.

Thx virus!

What you say makes total sense. But didnt Groupon take a shitload of money to start? Like way more than anyone here is capable of? Also what I dont undersand is instead of buying groupon google has enough money why didnt they just steal the idea and go make a company like that itself?

If you dont have money start with micro niche sites, selling services,etc..

If you have money you can make ecommerce sites, niche sites, offline market.

If you want to make big money, provide a product or service in a big market; I think you have a pretty good idea as to what a big market is. While you can dominate small niches, small niches with small markets will not make you the fortune that you are looking for.

With $2million in the bank,at a modest 1% interest rate, you could withdraw $5,000 per month for 40 1/2 years before you would run out of money.

OP I think your attitude is wrong. Big money is everywhere - also IM, but it takes time.

You say Adsense is not big money? There are people who make $100K+/month with Adsense... And yes, one day they started with $50 bucks/month

You say that CPC is not where are big money? There are people (and they are very well known around) who make 100K+/month just with few campaings up... And yes, one day they started with 50 bucks/month

Your point of view is simply wrong. Either change it, or you will never make big money...

sell spades to those digging for gold :D if that's the expression..

Well, someone with 2 million dollars would not invest in a measly bank account.. Mutual funds in India/Brazil might draw draw 20% per year on the lower side. You could invest in gold/silver or other commodities or get into some private equaity fund!

you need big money to make big money...

the ppc game is really the best choice once you have enough capital raised to test and optimize campaigns. by ppc i mean adwords, yahoo, etc not adsense. its not as simple as it sounds though, because your sales pages need to be legit or else no one will convert.

instead of 20 shitty sites, i keep about 3 to 5 and invest hardwork and money into them hardcore.

ha i wish i could say i made $50k a month though..getting closer though :)
