i think owning a forex brokerage would be an easier way? Yes some make big money but most lose. I do no think "gambling" fits into my stress fre big money plans. Although having someone trade fx for me is a good investment. thx

Forex trading isn't gambling if you know what you're doing lol. There's going to be hard work in whatever you choose to do. Sometimes that hard works pays off, sometimes it doesn't and you're left thinking you wasted your time. But, at least you discovered what didn't work.

I personally trade currencies (Oanda is my broker). Open open a practice account. Treat the fake money like real money. Manage risk. etc. Learn about technical analysis/indicators. Develop a trading strategy. Once you feel like you've perfected your trading strategy, open up a live account.

Hint: Bollinger Bands on (5M) chart are great for catching short lived trends.

From my experience -
The biggest money is in social. The most consistent money is in paid traffic.

Putting all your magic into SEO and trying to guess what Google's algorithm likes today is a losing game. A low barrier to entry means that consequently you find a ton of small fish there.

Well, the winning consensus seems to be "come up with an original idea" and/or" investing."

I know very little about investing, but my stockbroker friends tell me it takes a lot of money to invest if you want to make decent money in the stockmarket...It's seems very risky to me.

I am however, an expert in creativity and original ideas (or supposed to be...LOL) since I'm a public school art teacher and content writer. I could easily write a small book about how to do this since there are many ways to come up with unique ideas. Try this simple exercise to begin with:

Google how to: Brain storm for new ideas using the graphic bubble technique. The premise is that one idea will lead to another.

Also, for inspiration, remember the guy that made a million with santamail.org? I think his name is Bryon Reese. He is now Demand Media's idea man.

Practice on coming up with new ideas, but have a plan about how you are going to do it - even if it's just drawing words out of a hat.

Some of my favorite BHW posters have contributed to this thread. It's great.

dont whore yourself out to VC and outside capital if you dont need to. thats garbage.

go after BIG markets is the key. work those 20 businesses into something that is fully automated, and scalable. then sell them.

use that cashflow to target a few big markets and be prpeared to focus and do a ton of work. thats where the payoff is.

Great point. I haven't even been in the SEO world for long myself, but I've already come to the conclusion that it shouldn't be something we rely on. My plan is to flip a few sites for some niche dough, and then put that money into more methods (something with a higher entry barrier as well).

money is certainly everywhere big money at that, just stay focused , bank then scale from there

Just because this is an IM forum does not mean that many here can also deal with offline projects

Surely if you are making $160 a day then you should easily be able to scale that up quite a lot??

$42 M a year...That's all I got to say and you can guess who got that (or had it) :D

Big money is in media buying and mobile atm. Forget forex, ecommerce and 5% margin. oO

correct, big money is everywhere, as long you can persist with your focus and have imagination and mindset settled up;

per NApoleon hill: Discovery happens with use of imagination and investigation;

looking form iM perspective the future trend to cash big money in, are the websites that generate user`s distributed content; piggy back on biggest websites: except their TOS they havent generated no content themselves

social is no.1 internet activity,
the basics often so many times leaved out is still communication, the way you can communicate with your prospects,
the transparency and integrity of your business
always look for demographics,
the thing to observe are consumer behavioural patterns, they tend to evolve with the usage of tools that those big websites developed for them, the one who has the biggest supply of their data can manipulate people for their own capital;

you see when you are spreding out Facebooks, yt, ebay s links, you are not necesarrily making money, but they are growing from your effort and they DO earn :D

combining all this we see that your online profile will soon be joined with your offline;

and one more thing: being Marketer means you dont always do what you ve been taught to do, but you relly on instinct.

Guys check the date of this post lol
