I have rarely seen some one offers on-site optimization, most people offer link building services. Maybe it is only a one-time thing, but it is a foundation for any SEO work, how much would you pay for a service like this?

It depends on the scope of work you need to be done. You have to specify whatever you need and then you will get prices also.

$0.. I do it all myself because it really isn't that hard.

But I imagine if you had SEO clients you could charge them some because they wouldn't know how to do it.

Nothing as I know how to do it myself :) I am working at an agency and we usually sell onsite optimization between 2k and 5k depending on the size of the site.

I definitely don't think it would be a profitable service to offer here (on an IM forum). Most people know the basics of on-pageSEO. But you could certainly offer this to local businesses, in addition to off-page SEO.

We can not quote here any amount as it totally depend on the scope of work.
But i know the SEO and on-site optimization is easier than off site.
You can do it by yourself also, if you have knowledge of this. But if not then you should take help of backlinksindexer for back linking as for increasing page rank and SEO.
Hope you have understood.

I've been picking up a slew of SEO clients lately (freelance style) and charge them around 500 dollars for their on-page.

This is usually coupled into the cost of a site redesign which I usually press for in the first month.

THEN ITS LINKBUILDING TIME!

Totally agree with you! People here are smart enough to do this by themselves, won't take a whole lot of time to go through a on-site optimization, link building is more tiresome process...

Depends on who you sell to. Many companies party hundreds of thousands for website development. Local businesses will usually be willing to spend a few especially if they are new to e commerce.

For small sites (1-5 pages) - $5 - $15

However, there are some times that are generally big and has a lot of content which they want to rank for so many keywords including country specific KWs. Aside from building links for that guy, he was also looking for someone to do onpage SEO for $100 - $150 (his site has more than 100 pages).

keyword in URL
keyword in Title
keyword in h1
done.

Anyone that pays to get that done is an idiot.

why do it yourself and waste time when you can hire someone? I usually just pay around $60 per keyword and 1 blast usually gets me to the top of the page.

Used around $600 for seo on one of my project which now gets me 1,500 daily visitors and i make 4 times monthly what i paid for seo.

People who got cash to spare should outsource seo and focus on what other keywords to target.

On page optimization is pretty easy for me as I work with WordPress sites. Unless there is some coding errors in a template or something that's beyond my capabilities, I usually can handle it all myself. For coding errors, the most I've ever paid was $20 for a couple hours of work.

Conversion optimization is what I like to focus on because I work with niche affiliate sites, so getting people to click on the banners and links is crucial.

Read my reply above.

It Depends.. What was your purpose for asking the question?

Are you going to do it for others offline?
Are you thinking about doing here?
Do you need it done on a hundred of your sites?

Little more specific would help find the right solution :)

My friend is a graphic artists. He teaches at night at a local Univ. He too works for an agency. His company bills him at $125 per hr. He gets three hrs to do an illustration I had done on Fiverr.

Make no mistake these forums are not the real market place. Just because you can repair your own car doesn't mean everyone can nor wants to. Some take their cars to the dealer to get repaired.

I really would not do anything because onsite SEO is simple and

you need not hire anyone to do it for you.

Just follow these basic principles and you will be fine...

1) Make sure to have your main keyword in the H1,H2 and the H3 tag

2) Make sure to have your main keyword in the Title

3) Insert an image and Have your keyword in the "ALT" tag of that image

4) Maintain a keyword density of 2-4%

5) Link to other pages/posts of your website with your keyword as the anchor

text

6) Bold, underline and italicize your keyword

7) Make sure to have more than 700 words of content

8) Insert LSI terms inside your article

9) Add a outgoing link to an authority page like Wikipedia.

Thats about it seriously.

It does not take more than 5 minutes, why do you want to pay someone

to do this..:)

OR.... you let Easy WP seo tell you what to do

and if thats too hard, shoot me a pm and I'll charge you a sweet amount :P
