Or check the gigs section. May not find one paying $400, but usually there are quick 1 or 2 day jobs available that pay in cash. Would be a start.

Sell something on ebay, CL, or forums that deal with something you have that you can sell. Make it a great deal even if you get crappy end of the deal. You get the money you need but you may have to give more than you want. Focus on 2 or 4 things at 100, 200 each might be better for you

I'd suggest create a fake website (.co.cc,.tk if you don't want to invest on a game)
Put in a sales page for a "diet e book" at $57 then pretend to be a girl and get guy to buy that for you! But don't drop them off too quickly because they will dispute the payment.

Write 100 articles at $4 each. You can do 20 articles a day for 5 days if you really crank it. Or do that in combination with doing some other crap on fiverr, whatever you happen to be good at.

Sell $400 of your possessions on ebay etc.

Just find somewhere you can work for minimum wage or write articles. You can't make $400 in your first week of IM even with 16 hours of work each day. It takes long term work and dedication.

On fiverr.com you can sell them for 5.00 and pay 1.00 to fiverr for every completed project.

Not sure for $4 but quite common $5 in fiverr for hand written article.

With only 5 days, I don't think it is possible. Unless you can think of a job that a person would pay you by Western Union for.

My best advice is to make the money offline, if the time restriction is this harsh. Have you considered getting a loan from a family member?

You can always do a car wash or sell bottled water if you live in a warmer state, shovel snow, mow lawns, pick up dog poop, dog walking, cleaning service etc. If you have anything you can pawn use a pawnshop, then buy back your item later on.
