Need to make $400 by the 19th.. any ideas.

My stepdad knows a guy who begs for a living.

This guy is on no drugs and doesn't drink or smoke and he drives a nice new(ish) high MPG car and lives in a fairly decent (but rented) house. Get some shabby clothes on, make a decent sign and go sit in your town centre with a sad look on your face.

Post gigs or find gigs on fiverr to try to bring in some cash. You can also try finding gigs on Amazon Mechanical Turk.
Sign up for any webcam site and become an affiliate. Then go on CL and post on the w4m and try to get people to sign up. Also use POF to get guys to talk to you and then get them to sign up under your affiliate link.
Start your own part time business - dogwalking, car wash, mow lawn, haul garbage etc. Post ads around your town and on CL.
Sell your stuff on CL or eBay or have a yard sale
Sell your body to medicine or sign up for some other experiment

Donate plasma. Sell your 'toys' on CL or ebay. Sell your digital property (domains, websites, content, and so on). Pick up some freelance work at (guru, elance, freelancer).

It sucks, but its doable. The important thing is to learn from this experience and never give up. Eventually this will be a distant memory and you will be killing it

Start planning your IM work activity so you're not stuck in the "need hundreds within days, got no ideas" mode. You should develop a habit of marketing/seeking x freelance jobs every work day, writing y number of articles a day, building z minisites/blogs per week, create 1 WSO or so a month, etc., to build a regular flow of immediate and short term cash.

Some of this activity bleeds into other money centers easily. Learn how to build, for example, a decently SEOed, monetizable WP blog. Then create several per week, keeping some for your minisite farm, while flipping others. Carve in 'training time' as well, to read up on the methods/downloads shared on BHW and to practice implementing them. The more skills you pick up this way, the more tasks you can promote yourself with on a freelance basis.
