Set up web 2.0 link pyramids manually at first. Say 4 web 2.0's then make 1-4 web 2.0's pointing at each of the ones you made above. Then throw some AA articles at random 2.0's above.
Take your 2.0 links and give them to someone on fiver and have them do a SB blast on them.
Do it manually and learn what you need to do. Then turn to your tools. You have gold in SENuke.
I'm a firm believer in that you need to do it all manually first, so you actually can program your tools to do what you need them to do, not use some dumb stupid ass template or something that you have no clue what its doing.
Best tool is google.
My recommendation.
Get your keywords right in the first place (get keywords that you KNOW you can rank for with your current skill)
Guestblog on sites WITH THE SAME OR LOWER PR than you (otherwize they wont want to bleed pr and wont accept you)
Write Articles, there's a shitload of web 2.0's and article directories, more than you can even handle.
Each day make a routine.
10 Forum profiles.
Write 400 word article spin 6 times and submit to 6 Web 2.0's
Write 525 word article and spin, submit to 5 article directories
Contact bloggers about guestblogging
Bookmark your web 2.0's
Find some High PR blogs to comment on that are do f0llow (not easy, but you will find them, hunt them down)
Thanks about 20 links per day and trust me, thats like 1/50th the work that SEO's do to rank per day...
Get to work, after 2-3 months, see where you are and what needs to be tweaked.
560 links per month that stick because you did it right and 3 months of "waiting" gets you:
1680 links
Tools are the last option and are for experienced people, to automate what they ALREADY do.
BTW: keep going, don't stop. Even though you think stuff isn't working, give it time. I'm working on a 2 week old site right now, and its in the 60th spot. You know how defeating that is doing all this work and its not moving? But I know, it will start slipping up the ranks like a wet snake in the grass

Then it's into maintenance mode, and work on another site
