May the force be with you

Or something similar...
I am nearly 24 now, started smoking somewhere around age 13/14 and smoked for approx. 8 years. When my health was getting worse I decided to stop smoking and here is how i did it:
At that time is was getting drunk with my friends very often and nearly all of them were smokers. One day I decided to stop smoking and just did it. It was really hard, not because my body was crying for it, but because of my daily routine: go to university - have a smoke; wait for a bus - have a smoke; meet with friends - have a smoke; drink a beer - have a smoke; being bored - have a smoke.
and so on. The only thing I focused on was the strength of my mind. I always told myself "smoking is a weakness and I don't accept weakness in my life". I went to Krav Maga practise 3 times a week, did push-ups every day, started running a few kilometers every day.
I did not try to find a substitute like chocolate, but instead started eating healthy food. Drinking juice without sugar... make a diet.
AND THE BEST THING: I bought tobacco and papers and put that right next to my bed, so I wouldn't even have to get up for having a smoke. I gave myself a challenge never to touch these things...
well I haven't had a smoke for over 2 years now, i am able to run 12 or more kilometers without feeling like my lungs explode, i do 300 push-ups every day, when i beat punching at Krav Maga practise a lot of people are scared.
I feel better, I smell better, I have more money to spend on cool things (gasoline so I can visit my girlfriend; beer; IM etc.), I'm a lot healthier, my skin looks better and so on.
Don't do all these pu**y methods with slowly getting off smoking... do the cold turkey thing and be a man. Stand strong against the most feared enemy you will ever meet - yourself.
So now you know my story. Repeat it and be happier the rest of your life.
