Zeek Rewards- Anyone tried it.

Over all, Smallgiant I think your review is accurate and objective. I found it especially interesting due to the fact that you obviously have more experience with the Penny Auction model than I have. The only slight problem I have with the review is a couple of your conclusions...the opinion that they are having, or are going to have problems retaining customers and also that they need to have more auctions. How do we KNOW they're not retaining customers and how do we KNOW that they need more auctions?...without the data, how do we KNOW these things?

I don't know if you've had the time yet to listen to the conference calls in the Back Office, but if you have, you know that the Zeekler admins have a close watch on the pulse of the auctions...At least they claim they do.

However, some of your concerns may have indeed have merit because, if you've read some of the latest news at ZeekRewards News, some of the changes they're making may be geared toward addressing these things.

I, like everyone else, have my opinion on lots of things when it comes to the way businesses should conduct themselves, however, we need to keep in mind that the way that a business may appear to be run or needs to be run as a consumer may be vastly different than the way it seems to the operators of a business...again, they have the benefit of the data.

Some of you know that my day job is as an insurance agent for one of the largest P&C insurance companies in the nation. Several times a week I have clients come in my office and angrily slap down their renewal bill and say something like, "Another premium increase!!?? Doesn't your company KNOW that we are in a recession? Inflation is killing me!! Your company is going to go out of business raising rates like this!! They should be helping the public out by LOWERING rates in times like this instead of RAISING them!! Has your company lost their minds?!!!" ...LOL! I can only imagine what would happen to my company if we were to operate completely on the way our customers thought we should operate.

Smallgiant, I'm not in any way saying that you have this sort of attitude. I just say this to illustrate the fact that things from the outside of a business are not what they are from the inside.

My desire, just as any ZR affiliate, is to see longivity with this company.

Well you are certainly right I did make some assumptions based on my observations, but I agree It is hard to be certain without data. I would like it if they started making affiliates privy to such information in the future. Obviously I think you are at least partially right otherwise you wouldn't be my sponsor. However, the problems I brought up while not problems now, may be in the near future and are always concerns for a business.

We both have our own experiences and I often have the same thoughts about people thinking they know what my company should be doing. Clearly zeek rewards is profiting at the moment, but the future is key. This is especially true since zeek rewards is built as a long term concept.

I will be taking an in depth look at everything zeek rewards has to offer in the next few days. Already I've run into the problem that they don't accept credit cards for VIP bids anymore. On the one hand understandable if people were really using stolen cards, on the other, it's still annoying for us. Alertpay itself is having problems with no visa or MasterCard working for 2 months. This leaves solidtrustpay which I am currently waiting on so I can actually purchase bids.

I suppose saturation could raise it's ugly head at some point if things become static with ZR. Hopefully that will be years from now being that ZR is nearly world wide and also the operators appear to be proactive in dealing with problems. However, as most of us that are members of this forum are keenly aware, it is amazing how fast a very profitable venture or method quickly becomes obsolete and ineffective if one rests on his/her laurels for too long.

I understand that although Solid Trust Pay has a good relationship with ZR, other "eWallet" options are still being researched to give us more options. Yes, AlertPay has become almost useless, it would be paralizing if the same would happen to Solid Trust Pay.

Hi,
I think i was one of the first one mentioning zeekrewards in this forum, I never joined it but i've heard many people made a big success with it but i've never heard of anyone actually making a BIG withdrawl fro this program by big i mean 20k+, I only hear people seeing that they're making money, its one thing to just see digits on their backoffice and one thing to actually withdrawl them as cash money or to your bank account. Please let me know if anyone have successfully withdrawl any money.

So yesterday I bought a few bids. Not a ton, but more than the 10 needed. However, I did not receive anything from the retail profit pool. My bonus points have already grown for 2 Days. Why did my VIP point balance not grow?

I am in the 5cc as well, but have no customers yet. Did I add my bids too late to qualify for the day(around 7pm CST)? I'm not too sure right now so hopefully you might know.

Yes, I'd say you are correct. You and I are in the same TZ, (in fact, I think we live pretty close to each other. I'm in South Central MO :)) so you need to post anything you do with ZR by 4pm CST for it to show up on that evening's calculations...including posting that day's ad. Since you are in my downline I was able to see your bid purchase, so I can verify that much for you. Your purchase should show up as an increase in your VIP Points sometime tonight depending on what the first letter of your name is. I believe it is alphabetically. You are lucky, since your last name starts with "A", yours should be posted early in the evening, but if it were to start with Z, probably sometime the next morning. Mine starts with "K", so mine is posted anywhere from 11pm to 2am.

Don't stress about having no customers, the 5cc will take care of that for you.

Hey shelterman can u PM me more info ! And do u have skype so we can chat about this sometime ?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and found it because I am searching for information about zeekrewards. Seems like the place!

I joined as a silver member a few days ago, and my question is about my account going negative. It hasn't but what does not get mentioned is that I am the one actually paying for those "free" bids that are given to anyone who I refer to my zeekler auction site. So, if 4 people come and receive 25 bids each (the minimum), I am in the hole $100. Yes, I receive 100 points for those 100 bids, and I earn maybe 1.5% ($1.50) a day on them (until they drop off after 90 days). So I earn $135 over 90 days, less my original $100, for a net profit of $35. Fine, but what if 4 more people come to the site on the second day? I'm in the hole another $100, and it will take another 90 days to earn $35 profit.

So what am I missing? How do I get ahead if I have to keep buying bids and giving them to new customers?

I believe several of us have posted that we've made withdrawals on this thread. I deposited a ZR check just the other day in fact.

Probably the reason you don't hear of BIG withdrawals is because most people are still in a VIP Point building mode still since ZR is just a year old. Also, ZR is not happy with people posting "proof" of income on the Internet these days.

The short answer is when you are posting your ads, don't post the ads that say anything about giving away free bids because I suppose you would be obligated to pay them. Remember, you don't HAVE to give away free bids, in fact, you CAN'T give them away if you haven't purchased them or earned them. I believe the company offers $25 worth of incentive bids without your participation. My suggestion is to purchase at least $100 worth of bids to get started, that way you can give away some bids and sign up for the 5cc.

Keep in mind, we don't get our daily RPP percentage based on the RESULTS of our advertising, we're just paid to perform the action of posting the ad. I guess you could compare it to an advertising agency getting paid by Coca Cola to place ads for spots on TV. When someone purchases a can of Coca Cola, there is nothing that ties that purchase to any particular ad that was placed, it is all about name recognition. The ad agency gets paid on their actions not direct traceable results...maybe not the best example, but I think you understand what I mean.

When someone thinks about participating in a penny auction, ZR wants that person to think about ZEEKLER.

Hi Shelterman,

Thanks for the reply. I think, though, that I read that if someone comes to my zeekler site and gets the free bids, that I am "advanced" those bids by the company if I do not have them in my account. Then when I have accumulated enough cash awards, the money I owe for those 25 bids is repaid to the company. That is where I am confused. Is the company paying for those 25 "free" bids that are given to my customer or am I?

I'm not sure I know the answer to that. You might want to check in your Back Office FAQ or contact support. I've really never heard of it being an issue with anyone though....sorry, don't have a specific answer to that question.

To be honest and direct, you NEED to purchase some bids if you are going to see much in the way of results with ZR. If you purchase bids (probably at least 100) and join the 5cc, this all sorta takes care of itself. If you don't you'll become discouraged with the lack of action in your account and you will quit...I've seen it over and over. Those that dedicate some money into this SEE the results and stick with it, and they are HAPPY that they did...I sure am...if things go as they are now, this will be the best financial year EVER in my life, probably even any TWO years!

I understand what you are saying. I'm ready to put $100 in if I can get this part figured out. I liken it to a dinner party. You invite 6 guests (potential zeekler customers) because you have 6 servings (bids). All is good. Unless someone brings a guest (a potential customer who has found my zeekler site because I have posted ads for it all over the internet). This is unexpected. I have no food (bids) for this person, even though I told everyone I would (my zeekler site says all new customers get 25 free bids). So, now I have to pay for food (bids) for this new person, and since I don't have any money (no bids in my account because I've given them away), I go in the hole and start losing money.

And I think you do have to give "free" bids away. Otherwise, they don't turn into points, and you don't earn cash rewards, which turn into bids, which when given away, turn into points, etc.

Yep...sounds like you understand this part well enough.

Re: the 25 bid question, if I was forced to give an answer, I'd say that you aren't obligated to pay the 25 bids that ZR puts on their default ad. I really never had to deal with that potential issue because I purchased bids right from the get-go. All I was obligated to give to my customers was 50 bids (I started out as Silver and quickly upgraded to Diamond when I understood the potential of ZR) I REALLY don't think if you don't have the VIP Points, that the default 25 bids have to be paid back, otherwise in all of the videos, conference calls and webinars that I've listened to I'm SURE I would've heard it talked about...sorry. Maybe one of the other ZR affiliates here knows the answer or wants to take the time to research the answer and post it here.

...BTW, now would be a excellant time to purchase VIP Bids. In case you you haven't seen it on ZR News...I quote:

"Zeek has LOST HIS MIND Once Again!!! Buy-One-Get-One Free VIP Retail Bids @ Zeekler.com!! PLUS DOUBLE THE VIP POINTS on Retail Customer Bid Sales ONLY to the sponsoring affiliate!!

Effective immediately through midnight Jan 15th, 2012 you will receive DOUBLE the VIP BIDS to use in these incredible, exclusive auctions!!! Buy 100 VIP Bids for $100 and receive 100 bonus bids! Sell 100 VIP Bids for $100 to a RETAIL CUSTOMER?and receive 200 points!!! The time is NOW!!"

Thanks again for the info. I couldn't find anyone talking about the bid situation, either, which made me think the whole thing is a scam or somehow I don't have to pay for bids for unexpected customers (except isn't getting customers the whole point since we're posting ads all over the web). I suppose I will risk $100 knowing that I can lose it. Might be worth the small risk of $100.

Believe me Hersbear, I understand your scepticism, it is very natural. I personally don't have a problem with scepticism, what I DO have a problem with is people calling this a scam when they don't understand the first thing about it.

I think what you'll find is that you will purchase 100 in bids and then in 30 days, you see that your balance has grown to 150 VIP Points or more, you'll gain more confidence and trust then you'll become a regular ZR authority!

I hope you are right :) I'll come back here in a month or so and report on my progress.

Dawn just announced today that we will soon be receiving free bids to use in the Zeekler auctions with our monthly subscription payments. These are NOT VIP Sample Bids that go into your VIP Points Balance. These are the $1 VIP Bids (% signs) to be used in the Zeekler auctions only. We cannot give these bids away. We can only use them ourselves.

Here's the breakdown:

Silver--> 20 Zeekler VIP Auction Bids monthly
Gold--> 100 Zeekler VIP Auction Bids monthly
Diamond-->250 Zeekler VIP Auction Bids monthly

The date of implementation will be announced as soon as the coding is complete. Please make sure you are subscribed to ZeekRewardsNews.

ZeekRewards just keeps getting better and better!

I am so excited! This will give us a chance to have a little fun with it too! And by playing with the zeekler auctions more ourselves, in turn we will be even better able to advertise them!
