Hi Symbio,

If the daily percentage were to remain the way it is now, and assuming you start as a Gold member, those 1k turn into 5949 after 180 days. However, those are points, not dollars. You can't get them out of your account. You can only take x percent out of your daily profit share. Those 5949 points grow by 113 to day 181, so if you'd take out 100% of that, you'd have 181$ that day. Taking the full 100% is inadvisable, though, because of the 90 day rule. ~75 points expire that day, so your points would decrease. The best thing to do is to take out a small percentage each day, like 10% or so, and let the rest sit.

Silver Subscription: $5814

Gold Subscription: $6352

Diamond Subscription: $6411
Whoa. Okay, next post says that isn't real money.

If I understand it currently, lets assume you are making 1.1% daily profit share, at $6411, you only get $70 to reinvest or you can some of it out?

Okay, my math seems bad and nothing like Bariaska's. What would be a safe assumed number for the daily profit share?

I'm not sure what you mean by "fix the weekend". While I'm certainly not privy to the ZR Retail Profit Pool algorithm, they tell us that it is based on a percentage of daily profit that the company earns on any given day. Assuming this is true, I'm sure their profit is influenced by the number of auctions scheduled for the day and the bidding activity on the items (remember, the more bidders bidding on an item the more money Zeekler makes).

I guess what I'm saying is that there may not be anything to really "fix" about the weekend. It always has been and ALWAYS WILL be less profitable than the weekdays merely due to societal aspects...people's habits and schedules are different on weekends, hence less time to sit at their computer bidding at the Zeekler auction

Something else that you may be overlooking, just due to your relative newness to ZR, is that the daily percentages AS A WHOLE have increased pretty significantly over the last year...even the last few months. An increase in the the daily average would have the same effect to our individual profit as just increasing the weekend percentage wouldn't it?

These are just things maybe we should consider.

It's just that I wish they'd do something to get more out of the weekends. I'm not sure if there are fewer people or fewer auctions. You'd think people had more time on the weekends. Well, I guess that's just me. :)

I'm glad to hear it has increased noticeably. Although that's actually quite obvious, since Zeekler has been exploding in popularity. I hope to see a further increase and that the level never drops. As I'm just beginning, I don't have much that I can put in, so it'll be a while until something significant comes flying back at me. And I have little hope in terms of referrals.

Correct me if I'm wrong...the more people that join zeek rewards the less % daily interest for everyone? shelterman I PMed you btw.

at that point, I will be taking out 10% and let the rest sit, I think. Remember, the profit you make on one day will expire 90 days later. So those 70$ vanish from your account on day 270. This is why you shouldn't take out much. It's really 70 minus the points that expire that day, see? Besides, you want it to grow. After 4 years, you will be making around 1000$ a day by taking 10% out. That is if the percentage doesn't change from today, of course. Go into this as a long term thing, not something quick. You will have taken out around a quarter million after those 4 years. And that's without referrals, of course.

By the way, if you join under me, you'll be part of one of the biggest teams and get all the tools and everything you need :)

Dawn just announced today that we will soon be receiving free bids to use in the Zeekler auctions with our monthly subscription payments. These are NOT VIP Sample Bids that go into your VIP Points Balance. These are the $1 VIP Bids (% signs) to be used in the Zeekler auctions only. We cannot give these bids away. We can only use them ourselves.

Here's the breakdown:

Silver--> 20 Zeekler VIP Auction Bids monthly
Gold--> 100 Zeekler VIP Auction Bids monthly
Diamond-->250 Zeekler VIP Auction Bids monthly

The date of implementation will be announced as soon as the coding is complete. Please make sure you are subscribed to ZeekRewardsNews.

ZeekRewards just keeps getting better and better!

Silver is $10 a month, so you'd be getting more bids than you could buy for $10 as a retail merchant? Same with the other two levels?

The bids referred to in my above post are strictly a perk for preferred subscribers. The bids can't be used for any other purpose than bidding on items that WE want to purchase...they're a gift to us.

Also, just to be clear, the monthly subscription on each level DOES NOT purchase VIP bids. In other words, the $10 monthly subcription for Silver doesn't purchase $10 in VIP Bids for that month. To purchase VIP Bids, you have to purchase them separately.

I KNOW this can be confusing at first...it was for me too. Sometimes when I throw this information out, I forget that we all are not on the same level of understanding.

Maybe I wasn't clear, but that's not what I was asking.

A silver member will get 20 free bids to use in auction. Silver membership is $10 a dollar. 20 bids, if paid for, would cost more than $10, correct?

That was the question. :)

Bids cost only $0.65.
I can imagine that free bids will drive the auctions even more, since more people will be willing and able to bid. Because of that, auctions are less likely to end soon, which may lead some people who don't have free bids to continue bidding.

So 20 bids are 13 dollars, meaning, as a silver member you are making $3 once they start giving out those free bids. Obviously, that isn't money you "keep" but use for bids.

I actually think that's good too, when I get started, I'd definitely make use of the 500 bids being given out (on a retail account), to hopefully win a few things and it'll make it easier to sign others up, since I'll know what the heck I'm talking about lol.

I can only imagine how complicated it is to operate a penny auction.

What you are saying Bariaska is true, the auction operators aren't just giving these bids to us out of pure generosity, we will be additional bidders to help stimulate the auctions...every time we click on "bid", even though it is "free", it will most likely cause someone else's paid bid to be used up bidding against us. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that the auction on any one item will last much longer...why? Because what more bidders allows them to do is put more items up for bid.

I'm sure it's a constant juggle to keep the bidder to auction ratio correct. Too many bidders and not enough items and people will loose interest. Too many items and not enough bidders and items will be going out the door for pennies and very few bids spent to bring a profit.

Hey shelterman,

Do you have skype so we can chat. I can't pm yet so it would be easier that way.

Has anyone contacted the zeekler owners and told them how much their website sucks? I'm embarrassed to show it to people.

Anyway, someone who is on an good team PM me. I haven't signed up yet, but I want to asap.

Sample Bid Purchase Payment Options
We are no longer accepting bank wires for sample bid purchases. There are simply way too many issues in getting them processed into the proper account due to missing or incorrect information being submitted by the purchasing affiliates.
You can still use all major credit cards for subscriptions, Zeek retail bids and the 5cc.
Preferred sample bid methods of payment are as follows:
STP - Fully automated, instant credit of purchase to your ZR sample bid account.
AlertPay - Fully automated, instant credit of purchase to your ZR sample bid account.
Check-by-Fax - 7 business days from receipt to manual posting. This does not include weekends or holidays.
Any other manual payment options used are subject to user-entry errors and affiliates must prepare for these issues and expect extended delays based on "e-deposits" (not an approved method), wires (not an approved method) mail/postal service errors or delays and cross-referencing issues due to missing data. If you choose to use one of the approved manual methods, you must be patient and aware of these issues. We STRONGLY recommend that all affiliates to use STP/AlertPay (automated and instant) or Check by Fax as the fastest and/or most reliable duplicatable methods of purchasing sample bids.

After reading through this thread last week I decided to join Zeek rewards and Zeekler. This was mainly due to several members having success with the program, and shelterman's knowledge. I plan on giving an honest opinion and review of the programs over the next few weeks to help others decide if this is for them. Here are my initial thoughts.

The first thing you need to know is that essentially you are advertising for a penny auction site. Putting aside your own opinions on such sites, you need to ask yourself whether you morally agree with the business method or not. If not, are you still willing to work for them? Anyone in sales, marketing and advertising should already know the choice they will make. Since most people here are also willing to do a little blackhat over white, then we can move forward.

Now this part of the review mainly covers the Zeekler side of things, I have signed up as a silver member on zeek rewards, but for now we are only covering the auction site. Initially, depending on who you sign up under for the penny auction site, you can get 50, 250 or 500 free bids(these are suppose to be going up to 1000 soon). These free bids are mostly useless. Anyone semi business minded will realize that if these were "true" bids, the business mode; would quickly over inflate and be undeniably stupid. Zeekler solved this by only allowing these bids to be used on beginner auctions or regular penny auctions. Granted some of these auctions have a few good items or cash rewards. However, you can be sure that if you have 500 bids you will also be bidding against 20 others with 500 bids.

The only good auctions I have seen are the vip and premier auctions. These both have low competition and prices for most auctions. You must use paid bids for the premier auction, or paid vip bids for the vip auction(you get free vip bids for joining zeek rewards depending on membership level). While observing these auctions I saw a shark navigator lift away go for .33 cents, when retail price is $250. Not bad. However, this brings another question to mind. How much are you really saving? A google search will show that you can easily save 30-40% on this item from tons of retailers.

Honestly, I have my reservations about the penny auction business model. New sites have a very high failure rate, and even with tons of advertising can it really survive? I understand they are a very legitimate and backed company, but that does not guarantee longevity. 6 months ago some of my associates and I brainstormed several new bidding site models based on combining penny auctions, ebay, an old failing site called moola, and several other game theory ideas. Needless to say we are still working on it. Zeekler must realize they need to bring new changes to the game. Sure there are auctions where if you use bids you can take that off the buy it now price, but that isn't really new(and free bids won't work on these). They have their premier and vip auctions as well. I haven't noticed any of the "reveal" auctions in the last week, so I can't comment on those. However, to really retain customers they need to start offering some kind of incentive, and create truly unique auctions.

The penny auction model uses a lot of basic psychology principles to make money, but it does not lend itself well to time. Look up "dollar auction" on Wikipedia to really get the basis behind these kinds of sites. It really does bring up the stupidity of some people, and even in the last week I noticed an auction for $75 go for much more than it's value. Here lies the problem. Do you think after making the initial mistake of losing money on such an auction, a person will want to stay around?

Short term solutions are to obviously have more auctions, there are simply not enough of them. I understand that overall traffic and revenue dictates how many auctions there are, but it is definitely a fine line. Long term solutions will require some sort of customer retention, and creative new auction models. Without this, it is hard to really put all mytr ust into Zeek Rewards without that creeping minute fear of failure. Still I feel that if any company can get it right that would be the ones to do it. I realize they are always changing, and I missed the black friday, and cyber monday auctions as well. Consistency is key in the sales industry though, great sales for 2 days in a month won't cut it forever. Here's hoping for the future though!

Sorry about the length, hopefully I've provide an in depth look at the auction side of the company that others may want to start advertising for.
