Scrapejet Videos - How Tos and more

This is a big "waw"! It's first time when I think to use private proxies for scraping.
I didn't knew the eventual ban will be only for hours. I have 10 - 20 shared usually, not really private, but in time i think 100% private proxies will be a great investment.

And this will solve another issue. Some of "free public" proxies are botnet proxies and it's not a good idea to use them every day, you know, better stay safe.

Really? ~80 million urls? :):) I scraped last week 2.4 million and I was thinking it's too much. I have to think again.

Regarding %BLOGTITLE%. If you think it's possible to convince sweetfunny to include this in next updates it will be great. I use this even on moderated blogs and sometimes nice blog owners write responses at messages like "Hey, I like your %BLOGTITLE%.." or "you did a great job writing %BLOGTITLE%..."
I don't think this nice messages are evil in any way :saevil:, i see them like a nice encouragement for young bloggers. And of course we need their backlinks, so this is a win-win situation.

ps. you may want to edit your name from screen shot;)

Don't think too small mate, the sky is the limit. Back when Yahoo had their API, I scraped 180 million urls just from yahoo with just 1 instance of scrapebox in about a week. Here is the latest on that scrape, as you can see its just climbing, with now over 100 million results, all with 38 private proxies. :)

I gathered based on what Sweetfunny told me that they may already be considering to use tokens in future updates, but thats just my "assumption". I know they told me that on paper they have a lot more planned for Scrapejet.

Haha, I don't care if anyone sees my name in my screenshot. My license isn't at risk or anything and everyone already knows I use scrapebox. I mean it may not be a good idea to go posting the name thats on your license as someone could find out your paypal email easy enough, but my licenses are all linked to my personal paypal and I don't ever give that out to anyone, I only give out my business one. Plus Sweetfunny jokes around with me anyway, I said one time that scrapebox is my crack so they changed one of my license names to licensed for "Scrapebox is my Crack", which I thought was hilarious. :D So I am sure they know me well enough that I wouldn't have an issue disputing that a license was mine if there was any question.

Anyway, you should check out the new .8 update with Scrapejet. They redid how the whole process of link checking, post and scraping is done so it results in a higher success rates. My initial tests have been noticeably better.

I didn't take a screen, but I thought you might like to know that it finished at 179million urls from those 38 proxies. Thats what I have left after my server crashed anyway, it was still running when the server crashed and had to be restarted. So had my server not given out it would have kept going. Sky is the limit mate, go get it!

Its back up now, but I don't work for Scrapebox/ScrapeJet. I don't have the ability for fix servers for them etc...

I just installed and now I'm tesing 3 ScrapeJet sessions.
1. The .txt lists with keywords/websites must be comma separated or line by line?
2. The list with keywords may have keywords with quotation marks or ScrapeJet already use quotation marks to make searches?
3. Number of connections does not seem to affect harvesting. Is this true? I don't want to burn private proxies.
Thank you!

Awesome info much thanks for taking the time to do this!

Thank you!

1) One keyword per line. Wherever you can import a list of data, the list is always one entry per line.
2) ScrapeJet does not add quotation marks by its own, but join multiple words with +
3) You don't need to worry about the ScrapeJet integrated harvester, it wont burn your proxies. The number of connections does not affect the harvester.

One more question: I saw SJ use names when assigning url list to post to, any way to use keywords?

After you add your profile, right click it and select "Edit Profile".
On the following popup window, you will see "Anchor Text:" with the options "Use names", "Use keywords", "Use names and keywords".

Tried again. It seems that I have to remove profile after I edit a profile and add it again to keep new settings. So, by editing a profile - changing "use names" or the keywords from top left - will update the .jpr file, but not load again and use current settings in current session.

It works now like this:
1. add profile, edit profile, update profile
2. delete profile
3. add profile again
4. run

:D

Hm... it does not do that for me, it use the changes right away without the need to reload it. Do you click the "Update Profile" button or just close the popup window?

How do you test this?
I load a profile with anchor1, edit profile, change to anchor2, click "update profile",assign a test list, run, check manually anchor text by loading 3-4 webpages in firefox.
After I check I see anchor1, not anchor2.

Note:after I "update profile" if I edit it again it shows anchor2.
If I remove profile, load it again and run, the anchor will be anchor2.
