They ran a show on a facebook identity theft here in Australia last night. It was on the today tonight show. I don't usually watch this but was sick in bed and couldn't find the remote. But luckily I didn't as this was quite interesting.

The link to the show is http://au.news.yahoo.com/today-tonight/lifestyle/article/-/12440266/facebook-identity-theft

You can watch the video there.

A quick synopsis though is they grabbed her photos off facebook and then using video software superimposed her face onto a similar featured (blond, skinny, hot) porn actress video from the web. They then advertise her as a webcam girl. So they can run their own webcam site without actresses.

Obviously illegal as its identity theft. But I had never known that there was software that could superimpose a persons face onto an actress in a movie. The software looked very cool and obviously could be used for other black hat techniques which are not illegal. (super imposing my own face on a video).

Apparently they found the guy running it in an overseas country and he said he was making (i think) $1300 a week off it.

Anyone know what the software is that can do this the best?

I'll admit I do know google is my friend and I did search it and read a bit but there is so much software out there. Has anyone done it and what is the best software / method to do it ?

That's called E-whoring mate. And yes, there softwares available for this also some ready-made 'robot-girl' that do specific actions commanded through software over webcam.

Wouldn't it look just odd though? a moving video with a still face? O_o or am I being thick?

Anyway, you can do that with Adobe AfterEffects (with superimposed pictures or video), don't know how to do it on the fly!

I believe the face moves as well. It just imposes the features so that it looks very much like the person.

Interesting, anyone know such softwares that can do that on the fly?
Appreciated.
