-LIVE CASE STUDY! Follow what we do and how we rank!!!!!!!--

Day 1

Rank: 54

We Built
? 50 bookmarks
? 50 profiles
? 18 link linkwheel

Links began dripping out through Linklicious

Day 2-3

Playing waiting game, working on other projects and packing my house for the move...I plan on just letting linklicious drip for now.

Day 4

Rank: 52

Still playing the waiting game, there was a minor shift in rank....nothing special so far. I expect to see some movement in the next couple of days. I'll do another update after Thanksgiving unless something big happens.

Day 5

Rank: 182

There we go, now we are dancing with google. I was going to wait till after the holidays to update but this seemed worth an update. As expected, we dropped to 182 rank, I'll let it dance over the holidays and update you mondays or tuesday. =)

Happy Holidays.

Day 9

Rank: 181

? 1,500 profile links, drip rate 250/day (Note: This isn't recommended for new sites, this site is very old so it can handle more a day.)

The rank has fluctuated a little bit while it has danced, bouncing around 180. I suspect it will stop dancing some time this week, (I'd be really surprised if it danced longer than that with what we did) I went ahead and did some profile links and Im going to let it drip out.

Day 10

Rank: 2

Sweet! As expected, we came out of the google dance and landed on the first page. It will still probably fluctuate before it stabilizes. I still have the profile links dripping out at 250/ a day.

Note: This ranking bump was most likely not due to the profile links since those were just built. I'm pretty happy it jumped to #2, I expected somewhere on first page...2 is great. It still has some stabilization to go. I think the sites original age/strength plus low medium competition played a good role in the big bump.

Day 12

Rank: 6

We have been shifting between rank 2 and 7 for the last couple of days...I'm going to give it a little more time before I do anything else to it. We still have have profile links dripping out at 250/day through linklicious.

Day 14

Rank: 7

Just checking in, nothing much happening. Still stabilizing it seems, as it continues to shift. It hasn't gone any higher than 2 or any lower than 7 in the last week. Profile links are still dripping out steadily.

Dude that are some insane and very quick results!.. I wish I could rank my sites as easy as that.
Please give me some advice whether this keyword is about as difficult as yours? That'd give me an indication if it's possible to rank my keyword:

TT says 0 backlinks but backlinkwatch says already 93 backlinks to my site, mainly with services and my own scrapebox. What do you think?

I would say that it would be a different because although there was no SEO done for our website, it did have a good amount of age already. It looks like you are starting off with a brand new site so I would have a different strategy.

PM if you want a little more detail on yours, I want this thread to stay about this particular case study.

Still think forum profiles didn't help you much. High PR commenting would have done better.

Yeah probably, and actually we now offer High PR commenting, articles and also permanent High PR home page links at http://www.HighPRsociety.com...

...so we definitely have the ability to do that, and see amazing results with it but we are running a test and chose a different route.

how long do your typical case studies last? Or do you just keep going until you see the ranking stabilize for a certain period of time?

What's your experience with manually commenting on high PR blogs with basically 0 OBLs? I've tried doing some but they didn't have much effect and seemed useless and a complete waste of time to me (I did quite a lot to come to this conclusion). It seems a simple web 2.0 blast can easily outweigh the benefits of doing manual comments.

Nice, it has stayed ranked 2 for the last 3 days and not moving. We will continue to build links slowly. =)

Very nice man. What method will you use to monetize the site?

100 comments on any pr, or high pr?
and are the articles submitted with amr?

This isn't our site, we did this more as a favor for partner and in doing so got to test out some things. We are big believers on testing EVERYTHING and tracking it. We don't like taking other peoples word on "what works and doesn't work" and we have found out that often, the SEO "Facts" aren't so true and the world isn't flat after all :)

I see some other comments and a lot of PMS. I'm pretty busy right now guys, but when I get some time later on today or tonight I'll try to get to everyone's questions and PM's.

How long do you test for in general? What would you say is a safe amount of time to test if one strategy works and one does not? Greatly appreciate any guidance.

For any link building you do, I'd give it at least 2 weeks.

The comments were random, they weren't used on our HighPRSociety.com network or anything. We just used comments from one of our other tools...(http://www.onehourbacklinks.com)

No, the articles were submitted with in house tools (similar to amr)

I would completely agree with that. We've done it a few times and it was almost a complete waste of time. Its a better use of time to just buy High PR links IMO.
