[FREE] My Forums PR Bot for my 500th Post!

1 - Just wondering what your (the OP's) experiences are with this when it comes to the permanence of your forum profile's PR. Do you tend to see that they stay stable over time or drop?

They don't drop in PR. They do get banned though. That is why I prefer doing the "hubs" thing I mentioned earlier in the thread ... it's a no-fail method of getting PR to your site (even if your massive backlinks profile is banned, you still get the PR by making several and then visiting the hubs with a "safe" profile).

2 - I noticed whenever I try to minimize the tool it closes with the error "runtime error 380", is this a bug or am I missing something?

It's a tool I never intended to release when I made it ... I just never minimized it so didn't realize any problems that might happen when it is. I made it in VB6 and I'm not a programming guru in that language so off the top of my head, I can't visualize what I'd do to fix it. For now I guess, just don't minimize it hehe.

3 - Do you tend to just let big G find all of these links on it's own or do you ever ping them?

I don't ping them, I just move on to the next forum. You can pretty much guess how much your link will be indexed by typing inurl:domain.com/member.php and see how many results there are.

I've been trying to get the bot to work for a couple of days but I can't get it to work properly.

Did you try logging in with i.e., confirming your link gets placed on a member page and then fire up a 2nd i.e. browser and visiting a different page? If your second browser doesn't show the link then the bot wouldn't show the link. In that case it might be in your browser settings which control how your browser handles sessions or something like that.

Posted in another thread of yours but didnt hear back. So I'll troubleshoot it here real quick:

Logged into forum, in I.E. 8.0, clicking sound working and when I check recent page on another browser my recent visit is not listed. Any ideas or where to start?"

Everyone asks this question but nobody responds when I give the followup answer. Log into your forum with i.e. Confirm that your link is on profiles as you surf. Next, fire up another i.e. Visit a forum profile you haven't visited yet with your original i.e. browser window. Does your profile link get injected with the brand new browser window you fired up? If yes ... then the bot should work, and if it doesn't come back and say you actually did the steps above and it still doesn't work. If the 2nd browser window doesn't work then the bot won't work either. Again, it is a problem with your sessions ... most people can log in to a forum and fire up a 2nd i.e. and that 2nd i.e. will also be logged into forums. If yours cannot, then your i.e. security settings may not be default, and I can't say off the top of my head which settings must be fixed. Whatever is preventing your session from being seen across multiple browsers has to be addressed.

You answered many questions so far about using this. But i think if you make a video tutorial then it will be easy for all

This tool is awesome. I just run it few minutes and when I check my links I already got 207 000 backlinks to my link.

One more thing! when I try to look at my backlins in other forum user on the same site, while the tool is still working, I get this error: Error 500: Internal server error

Error 500
Your request for a URL has triggered a fault with the Web server. It is likely that the server overload, a configuration change, PHP script, or other server side application has caused a fault.
I don't know what it means but it seems that the server can see that a php script is running.

I was having the same problem many in the forum seem to be having regarding getting the bot to actually go to the site. I spent several hours dinking with my IE settings and that did the trick. Still, you said to make sure you check after 10 or 20K to make sure the links are still building up. Great little tool you have there.

The second IE logs in automatically and when I mannually visit random profiles my link gets injected. I then open the bot and let it run. But when I open a couple of the profiles in the range that the bot has visited in firefox, no links show up.
Oh.. and OP; thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions.

Any idea what changes made the difference?

If that's the case then this is the first time I've heard a problem that I don't know how to fix.

I've used the program on windows xp, windows 2003 server, windows vista, windows 7 with a wide variety of i.e. installations and could get them all to work. Nowadays I let it run on my windows vps without issue.

All I can recommend is to try it a couple more times ... I'm not an i.e. expert (I've hated it for a long time) ... the only reason I've programmed with it is that it can be embedded into VB6 programs fairly easy.

I'm not really an expert in VB6 either ... I just tinker til it suits my purpose and call it done. I'm not sure how to fix it if 2 i.e. instances work fine for being instantly logged in but the bot doesn't work.

No problem. I'll experiment some more to see if I can get it to work for me. If I find a solution I'll let you know. Rep+ for the support

This tool definitely works! Yesterday I've had a PR-1 for one of my site while I had a PR0 before using the plugin. Unfortunately some forums had been able to notice that my link had been added too fast to others account users. So one of them, in fact rcgroups, sends me a notification of spamming. Maybe they will delete my account but I am not worry till my links are not deleted on the other users page. And I am keeping it running on different forum. Really it's awesome!

Posting on Vb blogs is quite dangerous method that can get your blog post deleted. It has to be high quality post if you want it to stick. I think it would be the best if VB forum is related to your niche to make these post stick.

If not then i had to write a post that is related to forum niche unless forum is general. So if my site isn't in that5 niche it would be quite strange to add link to my site. Off course unless it is somewhat related.

lol'ed at the "dangerous" part, that's cute

Anyways ... google this

Code:
"recent visitors" "member blogs" "vbulletin" "ugg boots"
I like them folks who SEO for ugg boots. They're about the most aggressive whitehat-keyword spammers I've ever seen. They get their spam sticking everywhere and you can learn a thing or two by searching for their footprints.

Anyways, using that search will give you a bunch of vbulletin blogs who do not care if you're using them for blatant SEO purposes. If their blogs stick, yours should too.

Have fun, and post safe! Don't do anything dangerous lol.

This bot contains a rootkit, a very nast one thats immens hard to find and get rid off. 5 virusscanners couldn't find it and 5 malware/spyware killers couldn't find it either, BUT 1 other malware killer DID find it. This rootkit activates ping.exe and causes 100% cpu load.

I found this out on my host, and spent almost a day to get rid of it, to exclude other virus/rootkitsources I moved his tool to a seperate clean VM and runned the same malware killer that found it at my host. And again it was discovered so it's 100% certain this came from his tool. People beware, don't download it unless you want your pc to peak at 100% cpu load many times. The rootkit gets nested into your TCP/IP settings which makes it immens hard to get rid off.

Here is the source code.. Thank you. :)

Thanks. I alreade use terms such as ugg, nike, zoloft, viagra, tramadol for verything. These ugg forums having 100 000 members they may be eventually shut down. But links will probably last for more than year. So it is good to use this technique even with spam forums.

But non spam moderated forums have more value. It is probably easier to get PR on these ones. Because these forums aren't spammed they are probably going to last forever.

So i want to add links to these ones. Ugg forums are probably much more time efficient.

Actually i am going to search for my niche related forums. But it isn't as simple as in code bellow:

+"Powered by vBulletin" +"Recent Blog Posts" +inurl:keyword
OR
+"Powered by vBulletin" +"Recent Blog Posts" +intitle:keyword

Because post urls contains keyword. Maybe harvest with scrapebox, trim to rot and then check is there keyword inside domains.

Am i the only one who cant get this to work?
I am logged in and the bot starts counting down. But when i am then visiting the profiles from a proxy and not being logged in, my user isnt shown with the others ?
