[Case Study] Ranking a site from scratch and Flipping it for profit.

UPDATES:

Lately what I have been doing some theme changes and installing plugins to make look nice.

In the other hand, my adsense account has not been activated yet. its taking for over under review.

In the meanwhile, I've blasted 3000 links spread between my 3 keywords.

Its showing some results already....

Site has been indexed already.

For the lottery strategies keyword article 2 days ago was on 250th on google. Today is ranking 79th.

as for the other keywords, the articles have not been indexed yet (I think), no ranking so far nowhere under 1000th serps.

I just added a new post for the following keyword "strategies for winning the lottery"

I am not going to blast it yet, I want to try a new Backlinking strategy using 2.0s, social bookmarks and Profile/Comment Blast.

Today I am going to buy a Whiteboard to set up at home so I can start buidling a BLs strategies.

Sounds good If make a video series of my update + writting here of course?

I'm relatively new to BHW but I spend alot of time reading it. And it's the first time i see a journal with flippa as the only goal. Very interesting indeed!!

A few questions for you:
Was the domain new or aged?
Are you backlinking exclusively with profile links and blog comments?
Do you know the pr of those links? (both page-wise and domain-wise)

Thanks!

PS= I subscribed OFC =D

Nice plan man! Looks like the footprint is a little too obvious, maybe you should open the wheel here and there (I'm not taking about my experience but that's *apparently* the mantra here on BHW)!
looking forward to see how it works out though!
PS= don't move the camera so much, it's not really nice with full-screen!

Good case study! Are you using Google Analytics and Web master tools for this site?

Added you on skype, I would like to talk with you about this thread!

Google analytics only, I forgot about webmaster tools. I should add it to this site

Sounds good... I personally bought sites from Flippa..... just for fun though... doing SEO on them, and then i will figure out what to do with them...... maybe local paper? :-)

PM me your Skype, got a proposal for you.

I never sold a site in flippa. Say you ranked this site #1. How much approximately you would be getting when you sell?

Good case study, good luck with it.

When it comes to selling, hit me up and I'll help you get the best price for it :)

Believe in what you do and be consistent. There are serious players on flippa that can pay good money if traffic is stable. Making a well argumentet auction is the key.

I have built websites from scratch and sold them on flippa for $135,000 and $85,000. One of the sites was not monetized at all.

Awesome thread. I will be bookmarking this thread and checking back. I am constantly on Flippa making new investments and flipping sites.

Did you do SEO for those sites yourself?

Awesome thread! I look forward to watching your results with the project and specifically the tools that you are using. Also enjoyed your videos. Are you planning future videos describing the set up for your 2.0 properties?

Brett :)
