Hey BHatters, (my friend thought i meant bhaters)

Anyways, most of you know me already from my back to $200/day Journy thread and I really appreciate all the support and feedback I have been getting.

For the past few weeks I wanted to start something new, since everything that I want to do has been requested from many followers I would love to share what I am going to do live(not sure if the its proper word but you get my point) and uncensored! :D

This is what I am planning to do, recently I have been playing around with Flippa.com, purchased a website for about $80 and though it was cheap in my perspective for the amount of work was put into it. I had the curiosity of trying to sell a website too as well to see how it goes.

I have seen websites sell for $100k and this sites barely make $1k/month.
Imagine if I had to sell my website that make me 3k-4k/month, and of course I am not planning to sell my website.

So this What I was planning to do:
    1. Select a niche
    2. Buy domain
    3. Set up wordpress
    4. on/off site SEO
    5. Get good ranking
    6. Flip it!

So far what I have done:

    Already selected a niche: Lottery

I went to clickbank and checked into the betting section. Obviously the lottery niche are the most popular one. So I decided to go for the Lottery niche since its proven to convert.

    Already did my keyword research:
Main Keyword: Lottery Strategies [Broad Searches] 12,100
For some reason the exact searches are not showing right now.
from this point I have already did some digging to get more keywords which I will share as well.

Already bought a domain and set up WP:
    Code:
    http://www.TheLotteryStrategies.com
I bought the following temple because I liked it and it looks professional:
    Black Sakura WP
    Code:
    http://themeforest.net/item/black-sakura-wp/224440
I set up the following wp plugins:
    • SEOpressor
    • MaxBlogPress N!nja affiliate
    • Contact Form 7
    • 404-to-start
    • Ping Optimizer
    • Auto Excerpt
    • Google Sitemaps

I currently post 3 spun articles for the following keywords and made some changes according to SEOpressor:

    • Lottery Strategies
    • How to win lottery
    • Howto win the lottery

This were all posted in different dates and will of course go with more articles as well but everything take its own time to do so.

I already pay for Dripable.com back linking service. I have the 1000link/day package.

So I just set up the few first blasts.

Every Wednesday for a month I will bast the URLs, not the Domain.
So I will be blasting the Lottery Strategies article 1000/day every Wednesday.
I will Blast 500/day on Thursday and Friday on each of the remaining articles.

Note: I am blasting the Post URLS and not the Domains.
Follow me and we will see what happens.

BTW I removed the Ad sponsor widget, because I applied for an adsense account. When reviewing I do not want them to see my affiliate ads yet.

Good luck! Will follow this just like your $200 thread :)

I've also recently been browsing Flippa, can find some really good decent deals there for sites that are improperly monetized :).

so for off site SEO are you just using drippable and those WP plugins?

What are the advantages of blasting posts rather than the broad domain?

finally, i checked out dripable's site..that's a lot of backlinks they do a day for you...does this risk you getting sandboxed?
    sorry kinda of a newb
    thanks

    Quick suggestion

    Might want to change this

    Code:
    <title>The lottery Strategies</title>
    to this

    Code:
    <title>The Lottery Strategies</title>
    Capitalize the "l" in lottery

Personally I think it looks better.

    EDIT:

Good luck by the way! Hope it works out for ya :) Keep us updated.

Also might want to change the "About Us" page

That is something we are going to find out. Why am I blasting the urls and not the domains. It because I have done it before to blast my keywords for the Domain and it gets messy. WP puts your last post in the front page. now what happens if you no longer have that post on the front and u still have keywords link pointing to the front page?

Unless you have a statics page its different, Since im not leaving any statics pages in the from page, I rather blast to the urls for now.

Now regarding gettting sandboxed, That is why I am going slow to begin, Only doing 3000link blast /week.. At least 2 article are divided into 500/links per day. Dripable divides the links into Blog comments and profiles anyways.
So its more diversity besides what I am doing.

But you never now, that why I am making it a case study to see what happens by trying something different.

And yes, obviously the ping optimizer will help me get this pages indexed sooner or later.

Thanx, hope you learn from here

Nice thread will be following for sure. I wish you all the luck.

And not to make my post totally senseless, here are my advices.

    * Build high PR links and target increasing your PR - this will boost the price of your site
    * Google+ are now offering "fan pages". I have noticed a big boost for 1 of my sites
    * I personally love the social marketing so making a facebook/youtube/twitter profiles looks more professional and could drive some additional traffic. You can get your own unique promotional video for like 40-50$

The list goes on, but I'm too tired right now to continue :)

By the way I'm doing a website which only purpose is to be sold later on. I'm a little ahead of you, but you can pm me your skype ID and talk about it, if you feel that way hehe :)

    Good luck!

    Cheers,
    Hades

This is exactly what I was looking for!

I have opened threads in the site flipping section asking about how to buy sites from dp and sell it on flippa. My detailed questions included what to look for sites on dp, what SEOs to be done and to what extent, how to monetize etc. No one answered unfortunately :(

By the way, how are you planning to monetize the site? Adsense? or Something else? How much revenue are you planning to show on flippa when you list it there?

Thnx on that. I will def try that. I will pm you my skype in a bit sometime we could chat.

Im going to start by adding adsense. (not a big fan)
But later down the road I trying to target buyer for cb products.
I plan to show whatever revenue I get by then. My plan is to get ranked and get traffic before I sell it. REvenue is the least of my worries.

Alright. What's the time frame you have set for yourself before you list it on flippa? 1 month?

2-3 months depending on how fast I can rank.

I don't quite understand this whole site flipping phenomenon. So you register a domain (preferably an EMD), install wordpress, publish a couple of spun articles, purchase a variety of backlinking services (fiverr gigs, link wheels, link pyramids, contextual link building, etc.) in an effort to get #1 on the SERPs for a keyword.....and then you sell it? It sounds a bit too easy (if you outsource the SEO work).

I've seen a plethora of sites on flippa.com being sold for several thousands of dollars. I guess the value of those sites come from its keyword ranking and all of the SEO work done to it?

Do you plan on showing proof of earnings or just try to flip it based on getting #1 in the serps? If that's the case, I have a 30 page and growing site I started on Sept 1 that ranks #1 for the EMD and in the top 10 for numerous other keywords.
    But barely any income

Actually, the most important factor for evaluation is revenue. If you can show your site is earning, you can sell it for 10 times(generally) the earning. Some buyers also buy them on high PR and/or ranking.

Depends how it's being monetized. I've seen a guy on there consistently building micro niche sites in batches of 4, where the total revenue per month is around $120, and then he flips the batch of 4 sites for $2,000+. He's monetizing with Adsense. Seems like Adsense sites sell for more.

Is quite simple, you gotta understand the people how buy websites are lazy. they want something ready. Also this is people are looking something that its already making money.

Of course its sounds easy, what is difficult is to make it happen.

True saying, some people dont care if it isn't earning but getting the traffic. How you make the money? by having traffic coming in.

Yeah, obviously, it is something that if a site is able to generate from adsense then in proven to make money if you scale it up to bigger commission.
