Is G-Mail cool for sending in bulk?

Yo BHW.

So I've been doing some CPA campaigns through online classified sites and have been getting a nice amount of e-mails. Once I get those e-mails I send a blast using BCC to about 200 at a time. I noticed that on the initial blast I got 100 clicks out of about 150 e-mails sent. Now I only get about 85 clicks out of 250 e-mails. I feel like something is wrong...either G-Mail isn't delivering all of my e-mails.

Anyone having the same problem? Should I just stop using G-Mail for sending out bulk?

I understand you can only send 500 e-mails per day per account.

Any help would be appreciated.

Let's step back for a bit. One of the biggest issues with email in general is avoiding the spam box. In email terminology, this is measured by deliverability rate. MailChimp / Aweber / iContact / Constant Contact all are email service providers that have invested in the technology and credentials to maximize deliverability. Besides service providers, you can use your personal email which I believe sends from your IP, or sending through some third party email server, which sends through their IP (but I'd have to double check to make sure). The "less reputable" the sender is, the higher chance your email is flagged as spam and never makes it.

Spam risk is also determined by your email content. There are a bunch of free and easy spam risk assessors online. If you have keywords like viagra gets you easy $50,000 government grants from nigeria, you best believe you're going to the spam folder.

Also, as people flag your email as spam, more and more ISP's will log your email as a spam source.

So when you're having a drop in open and reply rates off your gmail, you're getting hit after the initial email pushes. Maybe change up your content so it looks less like spam, and have opt out links etc so even if people complain, not all of them will mark your email out. Also, maybe have a good supply of gmail accounts for sending.

I'm considering trying out Mail Chimp then. You made a good point, they have specialized in providing high delivery rates to their clients so why not go with them? That should improve my inbox rate.

And my content is currently getting a decent conversion rate which is why I'm a lil nervous of switching up the content.

So MailChimp is good for mass sending I see you can send unlimited for $10 a month have you had success with them ?

I've used them for other campaigns when I was paying and they were pretty good. Their analytics are amazing. They also have a free 12,000 e-mail plan per month.

MailChimp is good for mass sending. If you can't get something to work with MailChimp, then there's something seriously wrong. With either your list, email adcopy, or offer. But if they find out you're running a CPA, then you'll probably get booted.

If you can run CPA and not get booted then please PM me haha. But really you should have a backup plan, like emailing through a VPS, and adding stuff like SPF etc as you do bigger email drops.
