[FREE] My Forums PR Bot for my 500th Post!

It will be a little temporary now lol. They used to stay near forever, but as this will be competitive now, you will be on the list of the last 10 and when 10 other BHW members use it, your name will be pushed off the list.

not if you use a nickname beginning by "aaaa" because in the recent widget profile names are sorted in alphabetical order so you'll stick longer with a name starting by the A letter :)

I wished it worked that way, and they actually are sorted. But when 10 fresh ones have arrived, yours will be pushed off.

It works the exact same way that BHW profiles work, when I see the last 10 people who have viewed my profile page, it always cycles the oldest out.

really?? thats bad...
So this tool is only usefull to index a new website, not to climb in serps as I previously thought... (or just for a few days until links stick)

I'm giving you this example because this forum profile of mine got banned. When it got banned, it no longer has a link to my money site.

Code:
http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=1076490

It is PR4. znzqxqz was a profile I made there June 7, 2010.

"site:ubuntuforums.org znzqxqz" in google shows 200k pages indexed. That's 200k pages that Google gives this page credit for.

Code:
site:ubuntuforums.org/member.php

Shows 718k results in Google that are indexed. I didn't get the link on all of them before my profile was deleted.

So now it boils down to tactics. It may be good to get your page indexed first ... people follow the link through to your profile and they see nothing. Then you slip your link in a few weeks.

Or, this could have been a hub page and never have a link on it. In fact, it IS a hub page .... if you make a profile at ubuntuforums.org and you simply visit this particular page, your forum profile has an instant PR4 backlink.

Anyways, this is an example. On ubuntuforums.org, a page that got 200k forum profile backlinks indexed achieved PR4. With only 1 outbound link to your site, a PR4 profile like this would make your website PR2 or PR3, depending on whether its a high or low PR4.

With millions of profiles at ubuntuforums ... chances are your link will last on a profile for a good long while. You can ALWAYS find a forum that hasn't been "found" yet by someone using this trick.

Huh? That's not bad. Think about it mathematically.

Let's assume there's 100,000,000 vBulletin forums on the internet using the recent visitors script. Now let's assume there are an average of 1,000 members per forum, that's 100,000,000,000 potential backlinks.

So the chances of 10 people knocking you off of every single profile is slim to nil.

If some of the features I mentioned were implemented that entire situation would be a non-issue because first of all if the bot scraped only the member links from the forum homepage, it would ping completely different people than anybody else because the odds of the exact same profiles being online are slim. Second, you could load your own link list, for example scrape a list of high PR threads/profiles and the app would scrape member links from those pages. So you could create a unique network of links on that page. Third, if you were able to schedule when the service ran, then you could re-index your links whenever.. Once a day, week, month, etc. Fourth, really the only way for 10 people to knock you off of the profile pages is for 10 separate people to ping every single profile on that forum. I'd imagine that would take forever, assuming it takes a few hours to run through one forum... Most people have THOUSANDS of XRumer profiles. So a few hours multiplied thousands of times makes it highly unlikely for this situation to occur.

PHPBuilt, people would definitely pay for something like this. How many subscribers does Linklicious and Lindexed have? Not to mention every mom and pop indexing site on the web? This method is pure genius and I would say you have two routes here. A.) Service. $20/month for X links per day, just like them. B.) Sell the app for $50-100 a copy and protect it well against pirates. (Maybe take notes from some existing apps, such as running this by way of a service that is always hosted on your machine and folks are paying to access the service file or something).

If you have several hundreds of dollars in software that are, at the current time, mainly useless for the majority of users, then of course this would sell. I would buy this software today for anything under $100.. And that's only because obviously I've not personally seen the results from this method, have not heard any third-party reviews of this method and of course the app is one dimensional; I'd honestly be worried about running this even on my campaign just based on how unnatural it would appear should this method become mainstream and Google starts piecing together profile->profile links. :)

I'm all about being as natural as possible.. And loading link lists, specifying custom ranges, and IMO the most powerful one would be "X percent of existing URLs chosen at random." So if there's 100,000 members, it randomly pings selects 10,000 of them and pings. This way, scheduling would serve a bigger purpose than simply re-indexing.. If you pinged 10% of members at random, then the next time you indexed there, you could end up with 20,000 profile links. :)

But I digress... Again, powerful platform.

Thanks for your share. And it's fantistic.

I have some questions after a try by myself,

1)About the PR bot, I run it in my XP system, but it runs not fast, say maybe it will load a forum profile every second. And yesterday I let it run when I'm sleeping. After 8 hours later, I woke up and check the bot, it loaded about 10,000 profiles. So, I think the bot load a profile every second at first, and then become slowly and slowly. Is this normal?

2) I can not open the bot for two forum at the the same time. I start the bot for a forum at first, and it works. Then I opend another IE and can not log in another forum with password, I tried to double click the bot icon again, it showed another toolbar and showed a dialog box and it sayed eroor....

3) how long will the profile page's PR rise? the PR of the forum I tried is
PR 5, and now my profile has visited 10,000 pofiles of this forum. And
I checked the PR of my profie page, it's still 0 at this moment.

4) can the bot load profile start again after stoped or met eroor? I mean,
if my profile number is 87263, the bot will load from 87262 and then 87261, 87260...., but if error happened while it load 86250, can I restart
the bot and make it load the profile from 86250 instead of 87262?

My mother language is not english, sorry for my poor gramma.
Hope I make everything clear.

Thanks for your share again. It's very very amazing.

It will load a page as fast as i.e. will load it. The program has an embedded internet explorer browser control. I haven't experienced any slowing down, but then again I typically run it on my VPS with a T1 internet connection.

I can run a few forums at a time. It sounds like your issues might be from a low bandwidth connection or an older computer. Even in the Philippines on a wireless modem connection to a 2G network I can still get 1 load a second.

A page's PR is nothing but the sum of links that Google knows points to the page. It may grow over time as more links get indexed. If for whatever reason, the website is not allowed to keep all the pages indexed that it has (because Google considers the forum lower quality) ... it will lose some PR. There isn't much way of knowing what PR you will end up with, but you should get some if Google is indexing the forums profile pages (which it does most).

4) can the bot load profile start again after stoped or met eroor? I mean,if my profile number is 87263, the bot will load from 87262 and then 87261, 87260...., but if error happened while it load 86250, can I restart

The bot does nothing except load the pages ... whatever number it starts at it will increment down the list. You can start the number anywhere you want. You can even start one at 100k, one at 200k, one at 300k, one at 400k on a 400k profile forum and run 4 on it at the same time. Just make sure you keep an eye on them to stop them before they start loading the same pages over again.

i ran the tool and checked my profile page using site:*profile link* it had 42,300 pages in google.

but when i checked using link:*profile link* it returned 0 results.

any advice on this.

To say that the google command link: is buggy and worthless would be an understatement.

i didn't mean it to be an understament.

but thats how we check backlinks right?

cause i checked it for one of my sites and it showed some of the sites that i got backlink from ...

again,i am a noob :D i dont know much abt this.

Thanks.
I tried again, and this time i logged two forums first, and then opend the bot,
and it worked! I don't know why, but this time it worked. Maybe I need to have a new computer. :-)

but thats how we check backlinks right?

Code:
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=blackhatworld.com&bwm=i&bwmo=d&bwmf=s

Swap blackhatworld.com with the URL you want to check backlinks on. Google won't tell you the index it has linked. Yahoo will tell you, but its not the same as Google's cache. There is no perfect way to know your backlinks far as I'm aware -- ESPECIALLY on something you've only been trying to index for 24 hours.

Please teach me, how to PR my forum. I download your BOT, but i don't know how to PR my site. Can you share BOT source code? Thanks

you have to ping all the links created to get them indexed (pinging 100000 profiles links is a pain in the a$$)

just use mass pinger (can be found here) to do that

Well at some point you got to stop getting backlinks to your backlinks. Any site with member profiles indexed won't have all of them indexed.

For instance, ubuntuforums.org is at member 1.48 million. When you type

Code:
site:ubuntuforums.org inurl:member.php
In Google, I'm showing 509k indexed. That is roughly over 1/3rd indexed.

On my VPS, I can get about 3 links a second on a forum with my bot. The question then becomes ... what is a better worth of your time, to try to get the 2/3rds of the forum profiles indexed which aren't already indexed, or should you just move on to the next one of many thousands of forums and get your link on all the profiles there (1/3rd or more of which are already indexed in Google).

These forum profiles already have some people with xrumer or some other method of indexing going on which is getting a forum profile indexed (which you benefit from with the profile indexer).

On ubuntuforums.org for instance, I don't know whether trying to get 1 million links pinged is a good use of time or not, I'm guessing not lol.

PS, if you're thinking of using ubuntuforums.org with the bot, again you have to think outside the box. They require 50 posts to edit your profile. However, you can use the trick without 50 posts. So make dozens or hundreds of hubs, then work on a few accounts to make posts. Lets say you make 50 "hub" forum accounts which browse a portion of the 1.48 million profiles. Then you make 2 or 3 "quality" forum profiles, you get each one 50 posts legitimately. Then your 2 or 3 "quality" forum profiles visit the 50 "hubs" ... each hub should be PR4 or PR5 ... so your 2 or 3 "quality" forum profiles would then get 50 PR4/PR5 backlinks each ... making each of them PR5. That way you've earned 2 or 3 PR5 (probably high PR5) profile backlinks from ubuntuforums.org. Sometimes you have to work a little for the PR hehe.

This bot works just fine!!! Thanks m8!

Maybe another good idea.... a bot that logs in on your account daily and changes your birthday. In that way your profile will always be on the frontpage of the forum under Today's Birthdays

That's pretty genius. I was also thinking ... if you had say 1000 forums you had this on, you could stagger loading one forum page at a time and cycle through the list ... that would keep you on the front page if they show people who are currently logged in (many do). Lots of methods to improve it if I get the time.

Thanks so much I was about to build one until I saw you posted this@!#!#!#

Great share Phpbuilt, thanks aswell for the web2.0 properties thread.
Can a member profile get a higher PR than its rootdomain?
