"I asked some questions from Shez and he replied within a couple of hours!
The plugin works i tested with some accounts.I have one account wich never get the likes(dunno why),but it worked with the other 4.
No one force you to buy the pro version...why are u crying?"

this is a sales thread - and I have made my comments as a paying customer.

to answer your question as briefly as possible.

The thread which was mod approved made no mention of 2 plug-ins only 1 - I paid for the one advertised then 5 minutes later get an email saying I should buy the pro version for $117 more - or $164 total.

If this was stated prior to purchase I would have had no problem with it - but it was not. I think this is bad business practice and that's why I took exception to it. Like I said the minute I said something - it then became $50.

Everyone views things differently I just like to know what I am getting into when I start...... thanks.

and just want to say

I will prob pay the $50 for the pro version

when clients/aff money comes in at end of the month.

If I may, I'd like to point out that you was sent an email offering the PRO version 3 DAYS after you purchased the standard version of the plugin. It wasn't 5 minutes later as you stated above. I think that should be made clear so there is no misunderstanding. The email asked you if you would like to get the PRO version and not that you HAD to buy it.

As mentioned earlier, and repeatedly, the PRO version was not even available at the time of you purchasing the standard version.

shezboy, when they click on a link to like something...does it redirect them to the link they clicked on? Or is it like the usual clickjacking plugin where they are actually clicking on a transparent like box?

Also, like the money back guarantee, going to pick this up.

edit:where's the pro version?

It will post a like and take them to where they wanted to go - where ever the link was meant to take them ;)

The PRO version is only available to customers who have already purchased the standard version.

The standard version is sold on our website at the full price of $97 and the PRO will be sold for $150.

So, we've created an offer whereby BHW members can get the standard version for $47 and the PRO for $50 IF they have already purchased the standard version.

This means that you would own both the standard version AND the PRO version for $97 which is the same price that the standard version is being sold at from our main website.

Each of the plugins can be installed on 20 different sites so, because you have the standard and the PRO versions you can install the plugins on 40 of your sites.

Effectively you're getting $244 of plugins for $97 if you buy the standard and the PRO version :)

The plugin does really work! I can see the traffic from FB at my PIWIK stat.

But I think it is good for developers to add new features to this version of plugin free of charge for customers who already bought the plugin. I bought Scrapebox 2 years ago for USD57 and during these 2 years I received at least 50 FREE updates for the program with a lot of new cool features.

I think it is good to include the follow features:

1. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page the percentage of user to skip and/or maximum amount of likes for each days for the site/each page.
2. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page the fb users to skip (me and my editors)
3. It is wisely to skip also logged wp site users (admin etc).
4. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page to skip ALL users from facebook (only post likes for visitors from Google/Bing/Yahoo or direct traffic).
5. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page option for plugin to post likes not for the first clicked link at first visited page but for the link clicked on second visited page.

We really do appreciate all feedback from users of the plugin, thank you for your suggestions.

It is suggestions such as these which will allow us to further improve an already powerful plugin. I will pass on these suggestions to the rest of the Netbomber team so we can discuss them further.

Thanks,

Shez

So you could enter the URL of

  • Your FB Fanpages
  • A static HTML site
  • Your YouTube videos
  • Your web 2.0 properites (such as those in linkwheels)
  • Your articles in article directories

Does this matter if i have a new fanpage without a fixed url?
For example fb.com/fanpagename/12121212

I can get my url after 20 likes i think.
How do i enter the fanpage url in the settings?
Thanks i advance

When you have the PRO version installed and licensed to your site, from your blogs admin panel -> go to the settings menu on the left hand side -> click on the plugin 'The Like Me Pro' -> that will take you to the plugins settings page where you can enter up to 10 URL's of your choice.

If you want a URL to get more 'likes' than the others then simply add that URL in more than one of the boxes. The plugin chooses one of the URL's at random each time it posts a 'like'.

Please do let me know if you have any other questions and thank you for your purchase.

So the URL boxes are meant for our fan page facebook pages??? This is where the plugin knows to "like" our fan page for the user?

The URL boxes are meant for any URL, including fan pages, yes :)

You can put YouTube URL's in there, Web 2.0 site URL's, Fan Page URL's..... ANY URL that you want a 'Like' posting for.

Why was it never mentioned in the sales thread that the plugin is limited to only 20 installs. Now all of a sudden i see it when you try to sell your Pro version. I really think people should have been told about this upfront when you are promoting the plugin initially.

The way i see it is you have a great product but not being open from the start with people means your reputation is questionable.

So now please tell me how does one get past the 20 site limited (which you never informed anyone of).

We have a 20 site limitation to prevent the plugin from being shared around. We are currently looking at options for people to be able to use the plugin on more than 20 sites but it is still being reviewed.

The 20 site license means that the plugin can be installed on up to 20 sites at any one time. If you have it installed on 20 sites, and then decide to uninstall it from one of those sites, your license will allow you to install in on another site again.

If you uninstall it from ten of your sites then you can install it on another ten sites. You can uninstall it and reinstall it as many times as you want. You're not stuck after you have installed it on the first 20 sites. You can move the plugin around as much as you want but it can only be used on up to 20 sites at any one time.

Does that make sense?

As for it not being mentioned... I have been editing the BHW special offer page and edited out the part where the 20 site license limit was mentioned. Thank you for bringing it to my attention as I have no corrected this.

With regards to my reputation and not being honest from the start etc, I strongly defend that. We have a 60 day full money back guarantee that protects every customer. Anyone, at anytime, can request a full refund if they are not happy with the plugin within 60 days.

If my reputation was in any way questionable then I would not be offering any form of money back guarantee. I apologize that you feel my reputation is questionable.

Would you like a full refund if your not satisfied that the plugin is limited to being installed on 20 sites at any one time?

Thanks,

Shez

Hey Shez, I know the tech support desk is probably busy, but if you see this and you have contact with them could you please ask them to review my ticket? I am dying to get this thing to work!

Hi, can you PM me your ticket number and I'll check out the support desk to see where things are with your ticket.

Thanks,

Shez

As i mentioned before you have a great product but it would have been nice if i knew about the 20 site limit upfront, because by not mentioning the limit upfront the impression was that that i can install it on all my account blogs

My problem is I have about 89 blogs running (I can give you all of the domain names), so what do i do now, do i have to buy the plug in 5 times so i can have a 100 site license -- that will cost me almost $200 which i wont pay.

What can you suggest

I'm sorry but I did explain in my last reply to your question about the 20 site license limit not being mentioned as I had been editing the BHW landing page and deleted the text about the 20 site limit.

I did also explain that we're looking at options to increase the license limits and it is being reviewed. I would not expect anyone to buy the plugin 5 times so don't even worry about that happening.

I will get back to you but I did already answer your questions the first time and it was nothing to do with not being upfront about things.

In my last reply to you I did offer you a refund if you were not happy about the 20 site license limits so that you were not at a loss or stuck with a product that did not fit your needs. That offer of a refund still stands and is good for the first 60 days of you owning the plugin. Please bear with us as we work out options to increase the license options.

Thanks,

Shez
