I bought the plugin. Good luck to me..

Thank you for your purchase but luck is not something you will need for this plugin. It works like a charm ;)

When getting them to click, is it similar to other methods in that when moving the mouse they would see the cursor change to the hand and back? Also, are we able to select any website to like? So someone visits Website A but likes Website B?

When they hover the cursor over a link on your blog the cursor changes to the hand as normal and back to the normal cursor at any other time.

The cursor acts and displays in the normal way that you would expect to act on a site which does not have the plugin installed.

With this version of the plugin it will post a like for the page/post of the blog that your visitor is on when they click a link.

Hi I actually quiet don't understand how facebook like will get more visitors to your site, do they automatically update your post to your fans or what. Since FB has changed a lot, wouldn't the update only be there for a little bit of time and gone? please clarify

With the recent changes to FB we have found that they plugin is no less effective than what is was before. The likes still get posted to the persons wall and they still get seen.

The plugin gets you traffic from fb and it will help towards the trust factor of your site in the eyes of Google.

It can create a viral effect of bringing more people to your site as those from FB come to your site, the click a link and a like then gets posted to their wall and the snowball effect begins :)

is there any settings internally we can change as to what % of users like the page?

also are future updates covered with the one time purchase?

How many domains are allowed to be used with the purchased copy?

Let me know I am ready to make a purchase today if I can hear back from you.

Thanks and from what I can see; looks like a very promising script - will leave my feedback in this thread as I started a viral website and see where this takes it :)

1) No those settings are hard coded using built-in randomizer

2) All future updates to this version are included with your purchase

3) You can use this on up to 20 domains at any one time. If you have installed on 20 sites and uninstall it from one of them you can then install it on another site to use up your 20 site license limit.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Shez

Thank you for your purchase and pleased to hear that you 'like' it <- see what I did there :D

It's a great plugin and it the only one of its kind that can do what it does.

I def like, question surrounding mobile
If someone where to access my blog (with your plugin) on their smartphone (android/iphone), would this function?

Thanks!

I have an issue with the plugin using IE that it will show a message "only secure content is displayed" with a button for "show all content". If I click on the button, then all is well... but if I just close the message without clicking to show all content, then every link I click after will show a pop up share link button for facebook. This is apparently not normal... and it happens only when you are logged in to FB. I will send you my domains in PM.

I just tried your two domains and the plugin worked as it should without popping up any alerts etc and the "likes" were posted to my fb wall.

I have replied to your PM with a link to our support desk who are best able to deal with this. Pop a support ticket to the tech team so they can look in to this and resolve the issue for you.

Once it has been resolved can you update the thread here with the outcome?

Thanks,

Shez

I will wait for outcome of this coz its important before I buy, but let me try to help out coz this is really nice stuff I will need it soon really soon.
IE is giving that warning if you have image or anything served from HTTP while URL bar displays HTTPS and vice-versa. Now, why that makes issue here is that (maybe even some hardened firefox also doesn't load both http and https) maybe facebook visitor (neo1001) opt-in on SSL traffic so my point is that:

Any visit to hxxp://blawg.neo1001[dot]com while 'Like' button is iframed from HTTPS enabled Facebook will drop warning.

If this is true is there any possible way around this?

PS why this is important? If facebook goes https only as twitter this can be problem... correct me if I'm wrong and I would be glad that I'm...

PPS neo1001 good find but "and it happens only when you are logged in to FB" <-- mate he said that plugin ignores non-logged-in visitors... so no hidden 'Like' frame or w/e that will rise exception in IE.

In order for the plugin to work you have to use facebook shares and not facebook likes on your WP. If you have a plugin that uses likes then it will not work, and once I changed that to facebook shares, the issue is gone.

It is my error as the instruction is clear on that... I guess I reinstalled the plugin and shuffled around a few and that's what happened. But it is working fine now... just remember, no facebook likes on your page, just facebook shares.

So you had another WP plugin for LikeJacking which caused problems and had to switch this one to ShareJacking ? Well thahts what you just wrote anyway...

Hi, can you describe more clearly exactly what the issue was please as your post seems a little confusing.

Thanks,

I'm really pissed off

you are now trying to sell me another version for $117 on top of the $47 I already paid you.

an extra $20-$30 to unlock more sites fine - I wouldn't be happy but I'd pay it .. but $117 --- you should have been upfront with everyone about this

rated thread 1 star - it sucks I even trusted your rep in purchasing this.

You're referring to the PRO version of the plugin which has been in development for some time and goes WAY beyond what the standard version of the plugin can do.

I am ALWAYS upfront with everyone so I'd rather you didn't cast aspersions on my reputation for your misunderstanding of something.

The just released PRO version of the plugin is a separate version of the plugin. It is NOT an update of the standard version.

We have just released it for $117 BUT customers who have purchased the standard version of the plugin (the one being sold in this thread) can get the PRO version for $50 instead of $117. (that's quite some saving).

What the PRO version does is allow you to post "likes" for ANY site you choose. Basically you install the PRO version on one of your WP blogs and in the admin section of the plugin you can enter up to 10 different URLs of ANY website that you want the "likes" to be posted for.

These URL's can be for ANY site (not just the URLs for the site where the plugin has been installed).

So you could enter the URL of

  • Your FB Fanpages
  • A static HTML site
  • Your YouTube videos
  • Your web 2.0 properites (such as those in linkwheels)
  • Your articles in article directories

You can choose to have the "like" posted for up to TEN URLs of ANY site that you choose.

Now bear in mind that if you have purchased the standard version of the plugin you can install that on 20 different sites. And because the PRO version is a stand alone product you can install that on another 20 of your WP blogs.

Because you can enter up to 10 URLs to have "likes" posted to in the PRO version, that means by owning both plugins, you can have "likes" posted for 220 different URLs.

And all of this for a combined price of $97 ($47 for the standard version and $50 for the PRO at the special discount price).

Now THAT is what I call a good deal.

To get the PRO version for $50, instead of $117, simply go to the special offer page that you will have been sent the link for, enter in the same PayPal email address that you used when purchasing the standard version and you will be redirected to the special $50 price for the PRO version.

If the system does not recognize your email address is will automatically redirect you to the full $117 price page. Should this happen to you then please send a support ticket to our customer support desk. The URL of that is in the ReadMe.txt file that you downloaded with the plugin.

And thanks for rating the thread one star

Shez
