how much do homeless people make?

Well that is the problem, people need to spot giving "change" to the homeless. Nobody saw the episode from Southpark? Ofcourse it was exaggerated but it was based on the truth. It's good to give but not to some lazy crack addicted bum.

Altough i kinda feel sorry for them, most of them get beat up by local drunks after partying. I remeber seeing some videos where they beat up homeless people for fun, or they bet money and arange fights....

Bum Fight!

I wont give to the bottom-feeders unless they can entertain me for a few seconds with a drum beat or something.

I have never given anything to homeless people, I don't understand why would anybody give them money. I have to work to make money and then I give it away for free?
But those homeless people probably are not as homeless as their trying to look, standing on some busy street with thousands of people walking around the income should be good enough.

Well humans are weak, they see the sad looking human begging for something and they can't help themselves. Little do they know giving him a few dollars isn't helping him one bit. It's only growing the beggar problem. If you want to help homeless people donate to a shelter or do some community service which benefits them.

Well, giving money to a homeless person is tricky. I ve known some of them in my little town. The problem is that with the money you give they buy cigaretts and alcohol. So personnaly i don't give money anymore but i go to the bread shop and i buy a piece of bread for them to it.

ANd there you can see if they real homeless. If they take the bread and thank you sincerly, if they look at you saying in their eyes "you could have given the money" i have one girl with a children which literally refused the bread i was proposing telling me she needed money badly blalablabla

That reminds me of my time when I had just broken up with my ex just before my daughters 3rd birthday.

I was walking up and down Argyll street and Sauchiehall street ( glasgow) myself trying to figure out what to get her.

Getting extremely stressed I capitulated and purchased myself 10 cigs. I lit one coughed, spluttered as I hadn't had one going on 4 years and decided I wasn't smoking another one.

Not wanting to just simply chuck away 9 cigs I thought, I know, I'll give them to one of the Big Issue sellers (homeless people selling magazines to earn a living).

So I made my way and low and behold I came across a big issue seller.

I looked him up and down. I couldn't believe it. He was better dressed than me!. With his new shoes, immaculate clean clothes. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HOMELESS!.

Suffice to say I thought Fuck that and lit up a cig and enjoyed the life of a smoker again!.

HOmER

lol cool story, thats exactly where the begger was in Sauchiehall street

Tricks of the homeless:

The guy targeted me in Dallas, Texas while I was cleaning my BMW at a car wash.

He was wearing a suit. He said that his truck ran out of gas a couple blocks away and was needing five bucks for gas. He would gladly pay me my $5 back once he got home and send me a check.

I asked him what kind of truck he drove. He told me. I told him to sit tight and if that truck was there I would come back and give him his five bucks to help him out.

I found no truck. I came back and the dude was gone.

I circled the area trying to find the guy. Saw him in a parking lot and confronted him.

He acted like it was stolen at first. "oh my I hope its not stolen"

I got the guy to confess that he was a con and I asked him how much he made. He said anywhere from $70-125 a day!

lol

Now everybody can get screwed when they ask me for money.

Here is another trick that was tried on me- I was in Chicago and this guy was following me and my friends around. "let me shine your shoes" Eventually I gave in.

-How much?

-$8

-okay go ahead.

-Once finished. Here is $8

-Its $8 per shoe plus tip!

-Get lost!

LOL

yeah ofc all the homeless makes so much money and driving with new cars etc. :D:D

One time a homeless guy asked me for some money, I was about to give him some, then I thought to myself "He's just going to waste it and spend it on drugs or alcohol". Then I thought... Wait, that's exactly what I'm going to use it on.

500$/day method

* Find/Import 5 people that are different nationality and look different from the locals.
* Pay them 400$ a month
* Set them up on a busy street where they will beg for money with a sign "I don't have for a ticket to get back home..."
* Make them look fucked up
* Rinse and repeat

I feel bad...

In Paris, homeless guys on good locations (for example train stations) make Euro 3,000 or more monthly.

I just always wondered, what they say to their wives and kids after coming home in the evening... But Paris is sick city in many ways, one of a kind. So I do not think it's that good everywhere.

pretty much depends on country .. but a bum or someone who is more active looking for old stuff peopel throw away makes with 30+% over the minimal wage of the country i would say

If they come up to me and ask i dont give them anything.
If i see them collecting garbage cans or paper to recycle i would go up to them and give them $20.

old joke :D

I think that's pretty rare, and I really don't think they earn alot - if they did, they'd either be dead (od) or homed.

Ten people give you $1 an hour, you make $10 an hour. This is saying that if they even give you $1.. Some give $5 or $10. So think..

5x5 = $25 HR
5x10 = $50 HR

You better have a nice spot.
