Hey OP, Thanks a lot for this useful info. I am getting started on this.

I am trying to make rough calculation for choosing a niche to work on. Pls correct me wherever i am wrong in assuming.

money i can make per month per keyword = (exact searches per month) x (0.4 click from google serp position 1) x (0.1 CTR on my page) x (0.5 googles share in CPC) x (adword cpc)

for example, for a 10000 exact searches per month and $1 adwords CPC being on position 1 in google results I can make

10000 x 0.4 x 0.1 x 0.5 x $1 = 200 $ per month.

If all this is correct, what theme do you suggest for an MNS that can give me 10% or more CTR ?

your math is correct.

For theme, there tons of high ctr themes. You can always change ad placements in any theme. For the following structure worked fine..

I wouldnt say its essential... You can use any other strategies to rank.

At fist I had a few problems with the adwords tool because it would not give me the option to choose a category, but I fixed this by changing my language setting to English and location to US (could be helpful for other noobs out there).

Just a few quick questions:
1 why do you prefer namecheap over godaddy?
2 where can I find the godaddy coupon you mentioned?

where did i mention anything about content locking? Content locking sucks. Dont do it. at least not for your home page.

Namecheap is better than godaddy by a lot of reasons. Lets just say bob parson (godaddy's ceo) is a total jackass and i would never recommend that psychopath's products to anyone...

you can find coupons easily just google "godaddy coupons"

OP, Can I ask another question. How do multiple link pushes from the same web 2.0 (even if they are from different accounts ) give more benefit than a single link push considering that backlinks are coming from the same domains (and IPs).

it doesnt matter. you can get good results even though it comes from same ip

If you have "one word" keyword.. Normally keyword is three or four words long in micro niche. So, just calculate accordingly. and yes, 2-4% is correct.

yes, they do work. Image is good, but in my experience, they have bad ctr..
