How Did BHW Become So Wealthy?

I was just pondering about this over lunch. I would love to know the history of BHW and how long it took Harro to make this forum into a profitable venture.

With running forums myself I know how hard the conversion is of..

I know this sounds nosey but if no one asked questions we would still be living in caves

at the bottom or footer of BHW.. specially from below or after your post, have you seen that?

#2. Donors and VIP sections or any paid subscription (from monthly to yearly subscriptions - vip member and more)

#3. BHW is # 1 on the first page of Google and other major search engine..
The higher visitors your forum got the higher your sales or income explode

Now get back to work and copy what BHW techniques.

I Think BHW Was the first fully dedicated blackhat forum then clones like ************ and money maker discussion emerged.

but in my mind aswell as many other blackhatters, blackhatworld will always be the greatest internet marketing site.

i thought about this a while ago... like what BHW looked like a week after it was set up how long till they got 1000 members and so on... i joined in 2008 which was when BHW was alredy a massive forum!

I doubt it is.

I dont know how much BHW makes, or I dont care how much they make. All I care about is the money making methods that is on BHW

But, as my dad told me, no one runs a business at loss. Either BHW must making some profit to the owner, or at the worst, it makes money = expenses.

Or as the last option, Damien might be so much into growing this community.

First you start with free site which shares cool methods... after it gets bigger, you will start selling "V.I.P"-passes to site, after that people will see that "geez! those guys are exclusive and making money online! i will do my best and advertise this thing to my friends" and it will spread like wildfire.

After that you can sell banner time for big bucks.

By the looks of it.. for AT LEAST a year BHW did NOT take off, 4 threads in 6 months...
obviously a long hard slog before it reached being ranked 400 in the world!!
