Was looking into Scrapebox and realized this thread was here and noticed the generous BHW discount. Awesome. Will be trying it soon.

Please don't laugh at this latest dilemma that we have.

So we blasted on 500k blogs. Got the reports and make it export at excel

But the stupid excel file can only open 65k Rows. all the remaining Rows were corrupt Data and LOST forever.

I hate Microsoft LOL

So anybody knows any work around for this other than lessening the links to be blasted to 65k all the time?

Text files cant have column reports so it is best to have it in Excel :(

Please remember that:

1. There has to be a limit, because no computer will ever have infinitely much memory.

2. Expanding the row limit would increase the memory usage and the size of saved files.

3. The current limit is more than sufficient for the vast majority of uses.

thanks, my team got burned for learning this limit for the past 2 weeks work in the database is now at 65k Rows each LOL....we blasted to 10 Million lists and we only got 0.06% per list we run [1 million]

65k per run is low, but its Microsoft. they could have at least put in 500K rows in there LOL

thanks for your insight on this

You could also use an Excel file splitting software.

no the problem is when after scrapebox finished checking the reports. Let's say we link check 1 Million list, and it finds 240K Auto Approve blogs, we then click EXPORT ALL TO EXCEL.

So my team happily reports to me, Ma'am we did 10 Million blast this week, when I checked them and opened the excel files being made by Scrapebox it shows DATA is LOST. then every excel file only has 65K rows in them.

So instead of finding and sorting those 240K in the 1 Million list, we now have around 65K to tinker with and around 2,000-5,000 auto approve blogs. Such a waste of resources due to Excel's limitation. I could have just told the SB operator to export it in Text, as that dont have the 1 million limit too....

:(

Hope it clears how Microsoft messed up with this limit

Yes they did, but next version now has a work around with a delimited text file export so it can be split, and opened in Excel with all fields for your report. If you are doing 10 million blasts, then you might need to provide a carry bag for all the reports lol but at least nothing will be lost.

Will there be a built-in scheduler for Scrapebox in the near future (next 1-2 months)?

Just purchased. Cannot wait to start using it after reading and trying to digest as much as I can from this awesome thread!

I keep having a hard time with my proxy IPs getting blocked. I have 10 private proxies that i use for posting only. But it seems like most of them get blocked by google and yahoo afterward. I could not use them at all yesterday. Today, all are good except for one. What am i doing wrong?

Also can ScrapeBox Scrape emails of linkedin?
and if so how do you do it
Thanks!

I haven't tested with linkedin, but if they show the emails addresses in the html code then yes it should work. Just load a list of linkedin pages in the urls harvested section and choose grab emails from urls.

Why isnt site: extracting urls?

Well currently site: only works on google, bing and aol. Given that AOL is stupid and keeps changing their code so it doesn't work with scrapebox, at this exact moment it only works with google and bing. Since yahoo dumped their search api, it no longer works with yahoo.

Im confused. If you use them for posting only, and you can't post to yahoo or google, then how would you know they are blocked by google and yahoo? Furthermore even if they were blocked by google or yahoo that wouldn't stop you from posting.

Do you mean scraping? If so you have to keep your connections at 20% maybe 10% for yahoo, they are picky. Meaning if you have 10 private proxies for scraping set google connections to 2 and yahoo to 1.

You may still eventually get a block, but on the whole you should be good.

^ i knew it doesnt work with yahoo.

But I'm getting like zero results from aol, google, and i havent added the bing code

strange thing , for me it;s working with yahoo and it's not working with google ,( actually without proxies it works with google) , I use public proxies but I always test them before harvesting .. seems sb+proxies doesn't work with proxies for me , or maybe the poxy tester isn't accurate.

LOL thanks for the delimited update soon.

It just occur to us we can sell auto approve Blasts up to a million each, there are buyers for this kind of thing LOL

So it gets us excited and get 5 orders more like it, much to our shock that the usual blasts that we have with Excel works very well [less blast of below 30K's no prob] but once that number go high above the hundreds of thousands, Excel wont be able to handle it.

Clients do want their reports clean and presentable in Excel and not some shady looking textfiles of URLS.

So this update soon will surely help our cause. :D

For now we are stuck in splitting them in small chunks of manageable 60-80k before checking them and sorting them

And yes SF, the carry bag is a lot of files and folders of Gigs of Data LOL.

We have been using your little creation since the first month on the get go when you released it for scrapping sites in the internet. Imagine what over a little 2 years of scrapping can do LOL :pirate:
