sorry - should have added to my post that my site wasn't completly removed (sandboxed)
i only lost ranking on the keywords i used as my anchor text.
I was a massive increase in serps for 3 kw's that i used in my sb/xrumer blasts and then i was totally removed from the index for these 3 words!
still have my pr.

intresting to see what happens over the next few weeks?
i did the same thing on my own site (sb/xrumer) direct to my homepage and got it sandboxed ... 4 months on .... still sandboxed.

domain was 10 years old.

i had just placed a new site design on this site and had loads of redirects.
also changed the ownership records of the domain so it would have looked to google that it was under new ownership!

First I think you guys are idiots for doing this. Second, google isn't stupid and they won't sit around and do nothing about it. If you are paying attention you will see that they are already putting more weight on other things and many types of links are not holding as much value as they used to. The more of this shit that goes the more they are going to devalue those types of links then they will be completely worthless to us along with the tools that build them.

Its my personal thinking and I respect all your comments. lets see what happens next.

Also please clarify, I have read many WSOs and asked many gurus about google sandbox. They say sandbox means complete de-index that the google thinks site ranking is not natural. And If the site is still in SERPS i.e site:site.com, it is actually dancing and not sandboxed.

Hope you have understood what I mean.

Sandbox ≠ deindexed. You're deindexed when your site isn't found with site:site.com, when you're sandboxed you're still indexed.
That's why I chose a very old domain and checked rankings for over 2 weeks straight prior to the test, in order to eliminate the speculation that the change in ranking is Google dance.

I'm not sure to understand: "13k profile"=tier 1, "500 profiles to tier 1"=tier 2 ?
Does it mean that you've created 13.000 x 500 X 500 = 325.000.000 BL ....????!!!

lol no, not 235 million backlinks
13k backlinks --> target site
500 backlinks --> 13k backlinks (each profile has several links on it)
500 backlinks --> 500 backlinks

= 14k backlinks

I am subin for updates. There WILL be a bounce back but I think you might be onto something here.

Why do you think we're idiots? I'm guessing because of all that "don't try to hurt your competition, work on your own site". Well this isn't exactly my competition, it's a site my friend owns and he gave me permission to do tests on it. And even if that wasn't the case, why the insult? This is blackhat.

The second part of your post is useless, we all know this already. Do you think you can just build the same types of links and do the same routine of SEO forever?

I know because I've known the site and owner for at least that long.. But I think there's a site called "wayback" or something and you can check how the site looked x time ago.

The niches my sites are in are either very difficult or pretty easy, so it wouldn't really makes sense to do that to my comp. And if it was my competitor, why would I cover it up?

I'm not disallowing anything, take note of the word I used. I'm just saying there's not reason in posting the usual "they'll come back stronger" if you don't even know or haven't tested it for yourself. This is exactly why I made this test and thread, to try to clear this up

- Unpleasant keywords, is this a big factor? What would happen if you use unrelated 'pleasant' keywords?

- How many keywords did you use?
